I may just be missing something, but my land battles have been going rather oddly.
Ex: I land AT-AT's at my spawn point, but the AT-AT's move really fast, as if I've got the game speed advanced. Also, vehicles seem to be able to shoot one another form all the way across the map, something which truly hampers my ability to gain a foot hold anywhere.
Often times I'm left with just mounting dozens of units and auto-resolving the fight.
AT-ST's also have an uncanny speed, and are often destroyed by pod walkers that are hiding in the far corner of the map.
I'm wondering if the approach taken on land battles was intentional, or if I've loaded the game improperly.
I've got limited computer knowledge, but I've managed to hold my own when it comes to downloads and insuring they're properly installed.
Thanks much,

I had trouble getting the game to respect acceleration limits like it does in space. If you look in the vehicle files, some of the units should take a full 30 seconds of movement to reach top speed (which is usually canonically blistering). That doesn't seem to always be the case in practice though, and the reason's still a mystery to me.Ex: I land AT-AT's at my spawn point, but the AT-AT's move really fast, as if I've got the game speed advanced.
