i been plying the mod for some time now and i am still pretty darn confused on how many sides are there ..

I know there is the allied USSR ....
the soviet side Cuba ...

but i read in the website that there is a epsilon? and i cant even find the side in skirmish ... can someone help me?

You need NPatch 1.00 or SE #0022. Either one has worked for me

ya .. i installed NP_SE_0022.exe into my yuri's revenge folder, and the mod starter for me as well .. and i still cant see the third fraction

Does it say NPatch SE#0022 on the bottom right hand corner of the main menu?

nope it says mo 2.0 PSI | 1.001

and i cant download the patch it gives me a xmlf files ... any ideas why?

It would help if you actually installed the NPatch and not just dump it to the folder. as long as u see 1.001 ingame this is NOT done!

where do i install the Npatch .. cause i download the first option from the main webpage and 'installed it in' aft which i tried download the second link but it gave me a xmlf file .. this is why i am confused with which is the correct NPatch ...

Install it in the folder itself, it needs to edit game.exe, and you need to delete the mod files before you install NPatch.

delete which files? ... now i have the same problem as the 'musician' in a previous post ...

The .xmlf files and any expandmd**.mix or ecachemd**.mix files, with ** being a number 01-99.

i found only 1 of the three files you stated ... which is expandmd**.mix

other then that i cant find any others.

after installing the NPatch
and after i deleted it it still says i have modified yuri files in my folder and doesnt allow me to install the NP_SE patch ..

Uninstall and reinstall YR, then try it again.

sorry for double post but can someone show me the steps to dl the mod.

steps by steps and also if possible direct link to the downloads ... now i am very lost.

First off, it only takes a minute if you choose modify and unclick RA2 and YR. Then another minute to reinstall them.

Download NPatch SE#0022, put it in your RA2/YR folder, execute the file, install it, take the mod files, put both in the YR folder, MAKE SURE THE PATCH XMLF FILE IS WITH THE MOD LAUNCHER, and launch the mod. It should work.

And BTW, if your computer is like mine, then RA2/YR is at HARDDRIVE(any letter for the hd like c or d)/Program Files/EA Games/Command and Conquer The First Decade/Command and Conquer Red Alert™ II/RA2

what do you mean by that? doesn't installing it in the folder puts both the file in the folder already?

EDIT: After soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long ... i finally manage to get it to work .. i installed the rockpatch then installed the 1.00 version .. now it has the thing but thn i still cant download the new 0022 patch though .. any idea how to?

Don't use RP. Use NP, they don't work in unison.

here is the problem ... if i use RP then NP it works but NPSE doesn't ... if i use NP then NPSE it doesn't work at all ...

can anyone like give me the full briefing on how to install ... btw the topic on this section stated that this mod needed rockpatch ... any idea why?
