wow I never found this topic, but I just did so here is my 2 cents.
I don't really get awkward when talking to girls in life now, my group at school is a 50/50 divide of girls and guys. so im used to them, their just people that happen to be of a different gender.
Seriously if you think that she wont forget, just remember that someday you will probably laugh about it, so she is annoyed at you for you liking someone right?
I go to a school that has about 140 students in my entire grade, so we all know each other fairly well. I dont really think there is a boundary between if someone is so nerdy people wont talk to them etc.
but your in america and im in australia so your morals are probably different from mine.
in conclusion, I bet shes gotten over it anyway.
I feel terrible...
