7th Side is it possible?

I'm making a sort of Age of Empire mod for Yuri's revenge. I want to make at least 8 sides with Assyrians, Chaldeans, Persians, Greeks, and other ancient empires. Does NPATCH allow more than six sides? If not, is there a workaround?

VK never tried 7th side

by the way, VKs new sides fuck up the AI, i suggest a clone side

How is it possible? Do you just rename the codes like "SixthCrew to SeventhCrew"? I see that your D-day have at least 7 sides and counting?

VK new sides fuck up the AI? Any sample code or except.txt to verify that? I never had any problems with Npatch and custom AI yet. Please clarify.

I think sides > 4 (3 if no npatch) is impossible from my own experience.

You can't use CanMakeUpCode=true

I think each side has to share a generic set of structures at least and then you use requiredhouses for the units

For example USA/Allies, Nazis, Soviet Union, Japan will work.

Basically the allied nations would need to share USA buildings, although in WWII, the USA basically provided most of the fighting supplies to the allies.

You would of course need a extensive rewrite of AI and there could be several issues if implement unique miners for example due to AI logic.

Also 4th AI causing IE?

I think thats your lack of coding skill, because two mods had 4th side ai working.

I have seven sides in D-day all fully working with there own structures, the only thing is that a few share the same sidebar etc.

Also,Mig,out of curiosity,please tell me that Hungary isn't finished.So it can be replaced by Romania :shiftee2:

Hows the AI handle them though cos of the BuildAI, etc limitiations

Aside from the sidebar, are there any issues with it (the 7th side)? As for me, I never really figured out how to make the eva sounds work in the Npatch AE custom sides.

CanMakeUpCode is a fake/joke code that doesnt exist, some modders like to use it when it comes to exe hacking
