How About MvA- Monsters vs. Aliens

I'm thinking the Aliens should have the classic UFO ships.
Easier to model and let's face Flying Saucers are cool.

Lasers,Aliens Giant Robots going to be fun.

I'm currently reworking the UI this may take a while but I'll show screenshots when it's done.
DIGI has agreed to make the Mechs for me.
He's excited with the thought of making Mechs and guns and stuff.
He wasn't quite as enthusiastic when I told him he'll be making some Alien stuff as well

Work continues on this project from time to time.

I should update the unit list for both factions because I have tinkering with them.
I have decided to remove the Rexelors because they are hard to design and are not really needed.
There will be another Mech for the Humans called "Mage" I'll tell more on that later.

The "Chinook" will be replaced with a VOTL.

I have been tweaking with the basic story and developing a more substantial plot line.
I'm posting it up for comments and suggestions.
Keep in mind this is a work in progress.

Back Story

The Syroneans were a peaceful and advanced race developing many technologies such as Hover-Tech,Teleportation,Optical Stealth and Plasma Weapons.
Though peaceful they had a well equiped army to fend off any attacks.
The Syreoneans lived on a planet named Syron (called Castor by Humans) which was the Sister planet of Synor (called Pollux by Humans) home of the Synosis.
The Syreoneans and the Synosis were at peace but they was never a friendship between the 2 peoples.
The Syreoneans were untrusting of the Synosis' aggressive nature and their enslavement of the Arascyth,the Synosis' resented the Syreonean's hold on Technology and were envious.

The Synosis had greater numbers than the Syreoneans but had more primitive technology.
The Synosis in secret began to build its arms in secret.

Word got to the Syreoneans who didn't have the means to repel a full force Synosis invasion so they befriended the nearest Planet with Intellegent Life in order to form an alliance.

The Syreoneans approached the Humans in peace and offered technology in hopes of forming a bond.

The Synosis finally attack Syron forcing the Syreoneans on Earth to return to their home and fight to protect it.
As the Syrons feared the Synosis might was too great and they were defeated and a lot of their resources and Technology was pilfered.

A host of the Syreoneans fled and made refuge in distant Space Stations rebuilding themselves to take back their home.

The Synosis learned of the Syreonean envoy with Earth and began to plan an attack .
At first they feined peace claiming to be Allies of the Syreoneans.
They used this time to learn about their new enemies and position themselves.

On July the 17th the launched a suprise attack and destroyed a large part of the Earth's defences.

The Humans called truce between themselves to fight the new enemy.
The Humans were outmatched in Technology and because of the surprise attack were out numbered.

The Syreoneans were unable to assist the Humans with the War that they brought on.

On Earth rebel faction began that allied itself with the invading Synosis and utilizing their technology and building its arms but not participating in the war.
The faction was called "Hybrid" they manage to combine Human "Mech" Technology with the stolen technology of the Synosis.
