What BFME is it for? Can you be any factions? Is it just a battle with two camps and four other fortresses?

bfme2 as you can read on the linked map download page & on the first screenshot's look...
it's a (multiplayer) map... It's no campaign, if you meant that...
umm... ofcourse u can be any faction! xD

just download and see or let it be ;-)

I don't really know anything about WorldBuilder... :p Just postponing my English homework.

It should be "the tunnel system inside their fortresses", without the e on the end of their. It is also more concise to say "the defenders seem isolated" instead of "the defenders seem to be isolated", as this way you get rid of a "be" verb (am, be, is, etc) which are undesirable in formal writing.

That's all the writer here will contribute. I play mods; I can't do much to make them. :p

EDIT: You have four Outposts for the defenders and four for the attackers. The attackers have more room to build. This means that just two of the attackers can make more money than the attackers, and then you have the other two as well. I'm not sure if this is something that would create imbalance; you might want to reduce the outposts outside the forts to just one per side.

EDIT2: Since the primary advantage of defending is that you rack up the PPs really fast and get to use all the powers, perhaps a Signal Fire in each base would be appropriate?

Stuff looks good !
I would prefer ONE Isengard and maybe ONE Cirith Ungol or Minas Morgul
Then it would really be the Union of the Two Towers .

Using men heal well for Evil faction is ok
But try getting some evil looking statue and using map.ini to recode it so it
works as a heal well .eg gatewatchers == MBMMStatue1

But it does look really good ! :p

thanks for your comments!

well about the outposts... a transfer_flag script gives each attacker one of the outposts outside :p
same for the defenders, each of them will get 2 Outposts immediately...

the Cirith Ungol thing is a good idea but to be honest, i like it as it is now... =)
same for the statues... i mean.. it doesn't has to be that saruman --> isengard is defending just because there is the orthanc... ^^ in the lotr books it was written that Orthanc was built long before middle earth was populated... and saruman just moved in there... ;-)

btw. the statues and wells were built ingame... they are not part of the map ;-)

about the grammar... as i'm obvousely not US / GB i think it is okey as it is... i mean, it doesn't look like very bad mistakes, right ? :-P (except for: theire)

Signal fire for the defenders is a good idea, but where to place them ?

The map is VERY fun to play. I teamed myself up with Brutal Isengard to defend, and set the attackers to be four mediums:

Men, Elves, Dwarves, and Goblins. All on a team.

The goblins have the largest, most seige oriented army i have ever seen them use. And sauron. It is very chaotic, with me being bottled up on my side of the river, being pretty close to helpless.

Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul.

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the Darkness bind them.

The map is a bit too unbalanced for multiplayer, I mean it's 4 players with the whole map for themselves, they can just spam your wall with catapult shots with nothing to worry about :thumbsupsmiley:

well... let's say i don't have infinite time to spend on mapping... ;-)

i mean... it would be nice to have evil tunnels with evil army... but come on, thats useless peanuts... i mean, it's kind of a fun map... ;-)

Walls can't dodge, besides it's 4v1 (catapults can't go inside the tunnels).


well... let's say i don't have infinite time to spend on mapping... ;-)

Always give your best in all maps you make!
That's what makes the difference between a great map and a "kind of a fun" map :p
