Ok, now, if any of you know me, I'm sorta a drifter guy; I used to hang out mainly on EAW modding sites, and then I switched to BFME sites (as well as just LOTR stuff in general) and now I'm just sorta doing a bit of each; I usually don't touch the internet that much anymore unless I'm looking at up and coming games. That's a sparing introduction, however quaint

Anyway, my point is, I've been writing enough ever since I was like 5 years old, as well as reading since I was like 3 , and I was wondering if there were any text things I could help with. I know this edition is only for fixing-up and balacing stuff, but I vaguely remember from my (enjoyable) time playing TEA that it did seem to have a lot of text issues. Now, whilst I know nothing at all about modding for BFME (aside from the very beginnings of the basics of modelling), and coding comes naturally to me as well, I was wondering if I could help compose the readme, fix up text issues, or in the case of missing text, provide some.

Yes, my credentials are rather useless on this matter, but it's so I can hope you can trust me Not like anyone ever has, but that's beside the point. It's up to ya's; I don't mean to infringe on anything, and if you don't like what I'm suggesting, then that's completely fine. I just want to help.

And yes, I've tried numerous times on mods to help, but then again, no-one ever replies when I do so eh. Again, up to you guys; from my point of view, I'm unreliable at best.

We don't really need someone just to edit the STR file, me and Rob are perfectly capable of that. If you want to post up all the missing text, mis-spellings or inconsistencies, go ahead

And I had an exam and essay in yesterday, so I didn't have time to work on this for the past fortnight. Today I plan to add the maps and fix some bugs (remembered a new one too; the Rohan Barracks faces the wrong way). I also have my BFME disc again so I can actually test things too.

Edit - I've just fixed all instances of bad line-breaks in the STR file (e.g. \n instead of /n)

Ok no worries! I remember I found something on one of the sides I played last night (either elves or mordor) where the text for I think it was two abilities for the same character were exactly alike. I've also found some other inconsistencies, and I'm going to *hopefully* identify those today!

I'm reformatting again today, because we've been having issues with activation of windows XP since like October/November......but now my eldest brother has told me firmly to tell my other rather patient brother to just use Vista to avoid continous reformats......I don't know why my brother didn't decide on this earlier, but it's a big blow to the head for me and him

It means I'll finally be able to re-install LOTRO and all the other games I couldn't be bothered installing so I'm going to be pleasently free of having to deal with re-formats, unless we get the upgrade soon. (mega-death upgrade mwahaha!) But don't worry, I'll still devote time to helping fix this mod of it's thankfully few bugs

Sorry for the rant; but I will get down to business later, after the re-format, or maybe before if my brother gets off soon.
