Whenever I try to open WorldBuilder on Patch 1.06 BFME2 it gives me this error: It is wrapped in code tags so it is easier to read.

My version of the game is legal. I think that the problem is, is that when I tried to open it with regular game in my computer it told me to reinstall for some reason. I think that if I put it in my code thingy on the back of the manual it would work I am trying that right now.

...So no modifications to the game at all? then indeed the best solution is to reinstall :p

Does that error happen when you open the editor, or when you try to open a map?

There's a known issue while opening maps with map.str files...

I meant as in does it work all patched without any mod in the folder of the BFME 2 game :p
You should check this to make sure that the mod is not affecting the way WB works in any way

You probably don't have enough memory. Really, you need 1GB for XP, 1.5GB for Vista as a minimum but you can survive with lower. You'll need to increase your virtual memory (it's suggested it should be about 1.5-2 times the amount of physical RAM you have). If you go to Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance > Advanced (off the top of my head, this may not be right).

I think that's disc space. I'm talking about RAM (Memory).

Control Panel > System

Should say how much RAM you have.

That's your processor's speed, which is in megahertz (not gygabytes!).

Just right click on your "My computer" icon and go to Properties. Your RAM memory will show up somewhere near the lower right corner.

Yes: Try starting the map from the desktop by placing the .map file on it, I had the same problem and that worked ;)
BTW: if you have a map.str in the folder, WB crashes also. :thumbsupsmiley:

I don't know how to add objects into worldbuilder, but you can make a special power, which will spawn the desired building and then use the scripts to execute it when the game starts.
Are you known with special powers and such?

Nope no Idea. But I have thought of this. What if I reinstall the game, after maknig a backup of my mod and saves and whatnot. Then I edit the needed files. Then I run world builder but with no mod addons, I only edit the vanilla (thats how my mod worked) and then open world builder. I think it might work.
Wait... what?
