Hi, I'm from Argentine and my english is not the best. I "love" the BFME 1 and I want to start modding but I don't have any idea how I can begin, please you can put the link to start modding (to do skins).
Thanks

That's pretty good for a first try, you may have some potential. Keep it up.

Edit: I moved this topic to the new BFME mod graphics subforum.

You mean the designs on the scales?
Nertea probably used a combination of burn and dodge brushes to give the appearance of relief in the scale, but you can also create a new layer, remove the fill, and add some easier bevel/emboss effect.

PD: Mirá che dónde vengo a encontrar otro argentino... te mandé un pm, a ver si te puedo encontrar para una partida o para enseñarte un par de trucos.
Saludos!

Good to see some people looking at my older tutorials

The relief effect can also be done by drawing the designs on a different layer and setting that layer to be partially transparent.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Add shadows between the scales... The rows will stand out better and look more realistic.
