You can choose the size of your capture animation in HVA Builder too.

What about it needs more work?


Well it looks nothing like a Stug/Stuh TBH:

  • The wheels are too big.
  • The drive & idle sprockets are missing.
  • Mud guards are missing.
  • The Front glacises is well... completely wrong.
  • There is no detailing on the rear engine deck.
  • The main superstructure is too far back.
  • The barrel is too long & at the wrong angle.
  • The machine gunner is to far back.
  • I could go on...

I'm guessing that you made it off the top of your head from what you remember seeing in CoH..? Googleing "Stug" for a few hours should help... I'm guessing from your PM that you're going to use my old D-day stuff now tho?

PS: You can zoom in so the vxl doesn't shrink... like so:

Hey Azura's Servant....Have you ever played Blitzkreig I for RA2? The Conyard in that mod is 6 by 4, in multi player if you give each side 10 units to start off with, you have to move some of them so the MCV can deploy. I believe you want 6by6....I assume you will have a MCV? I really shouldn't complain, but dude that green back ground reminds me of Mario Brothers....looks cartoony. Get all the editing tools you can for RA2, look at the buildings in the game. Your building stands up to straight, take an art class on perspective drawing. Use the vxl program to actually look at the way vehicles look. Download Migs Dday vxl he put up for download and study them. Your tank has no depth. Get Photoshop CS3. I haven't used it for anything other than making new terrain tiles but maybe you can change the building to look better for game play.
DO NOT USE THE NPATCH WITH THIS MOD. It will not work.
As a warning, if you post a bug report that says you're using NPatch version x
or y, your post will be deleted.

Sorry for the double post, but look at the way the buildings look in these pics. You need a different view of that building if you even are going to think of using it. The one on the left is the proper position. Sorry if the pic is too big, i did a preview and it doesn't show the pic, but maybe he can see the point. Oh, i copied your image and pasted it into photo shop and downsized it. Your image came up as 343 by 369, chopped off 200 by 200 making it 143 by 169 and made a shp 200 by 200 and centered it pretty much to show you.

Well, I use Gimp. I could easily just rotate the building to fit the grid, and it'll still look good.
BTW, we aren't going to use that after all. That would be copyright infringement. That's a jailable offense.
And how does my tank not have depth? I can't change the rendering abilities of the game and RA2.
And by green background, do you mean my avatar? If so, how does it look Mario Brothers? And, how is it cartoony? And, more importantly, get over it, it's not your avatar.

I'm not a lawyer, but if you are making something and posting it for others to use free, I don't think you can go to jail. I think if you sell it as your own or not paying the author then there would be a problem. Download Mig's DDay vxl look at them, Down load other mods look at them. Cartoony......well, I am not crazy about the green, but if you add some other items to the screen maybe some kind of pic or a map then maybe it will tone down the green. If i read your other posts you are only having US and Germany? I don't think that others will want to play the mod. You need to be able to give people a choice. When I say this, I am referring to the skirmish play. If they can only choose 1 of 2 countries thats going to turn people off from playing. really could not find any fault with the infantry, just hard to see. Maybe on a blue background instead of the black would help. Now that you have the word out about your mod, do more than post up later when you have a decent amount of stuff. If you post up every 2 seconds about it people will get tired of hearing about it. Maybe post up a story line of your mod, make others interested. I have seen Mig's stuff and I like what I saw, Blitzkreig (mod name) has some good things in it, and from what I have heard MO (Mental Omega) is pretty decent. I don't really play mods though I have about 8. I try to pick them apart look at the rules and such to see what makes them work. I try to learn from those. I don't know if Mig or Speeder would give any feedback. I know people have llives and what not, but ask them for some tips or advice maybe they will share some in sight that you will find useful. Reading the forums has helped me a bit in creating my own campaign/mod. And when you put credits in your mod, make you credit those people. Just like when I finish mine, even though Speeder hasn't given me anything, by looking at what he has in MO, I have picked up a few things

Actually, it's still copyright infringement, and Relic could sue me and have me arrested.

Each country has 3 commanders/doctrines. America has Airborne, Infantry, and Armored commanders. Wehrmacht has Blitzkrieg, Terror, and Defense doctrines. They each have their special powerups and special units and such to keep them individual, and they'll replace the countries they have in RA2. I won't, absolutely won't, add the British and Panzer Elite. They unbalanced CoH.

That's just the color that's made from the SHP exporter. I can't change it.

Use the RA2 unittem.pal & not the TS unittem, ra2 uses blue for backgrounds where as TS uses black.

But, if you use the Transparency thing, it'll make the background black. I think that's what H.U.N.K did. It doesn't really matter, though.
