Back to the Skuld - I think the general feeling is for Heavy Bolters.

The way I've gone is for two heavy bolters, one each side, which will be fired by the Blood Claws onboard. The Heavy Bolters will not be fixed to the Skuld, by carried unslung by the Blood Claws and will therefore have a magazine (as per scout HB) not a feed. These will be purchased as an upgrade to the Skuld but can only be fired when the crew are aboard. Note that ONLY BC (and any attached characters) can use the Skuld. The HB will be visibly stowed on the Skuld when the BC are not onboard.

This gives the Skuld some ranged ability and also allows the BC to whittle down a dangerous CC foe (Ork, Tyranids) before rushing out to meet them. Have also added the Tempest's missile launchers (well they were already on the model!) so the Skuld has equivalence with the raider now, though is weaponless in Tier 1.

To balance this, have moved the Razorback into Grimnar's branch (where the Skuld is unavailable),

by the way, Scouts bow doesnt have to be very "scifi", in dark heresy, people used regular bows. Maybe just targeting laser....and explosivearrowsshotgunandhunterkillermissilesnadand..

The finished banner - Ragnar's and Grimnar's. Don't quite understand how banner designs are swapped, since I can't find the root folder which has all the other banner designs in it - perhaps someone on here knows the answer?

In any case - it's a design. These things never quite end up how I expect, but I enjoyed the detail.

isnt it just G:\DOW - Soulstorm\Badges
and G:\DOW - Soulstorm\Banners ?

Lukas the Trickster in showcase (and Arjac Rockfist if you missed him). Did those as a distraction from unwrapping and texturing and doing tech sheets. Modelling is definitely the most fun part, with texturing coming in a close second. I hate unwrapping :(.

I'm now going to try and get all the Tier 1 models textured first - so Scout, GH, Ragnar, LP, Longhouse, LP(again), Forge, Stormtower, Skuldlev. Thrall still to do.

Also DC needs reinstalling so I can export models and Chief can get them ingame.

Then perhaps it's time for me to learn to animate so I can get the pipeline moving.

Textured Wolf Scout in 1st post. Damn he was a bugger to do! Taken me ages with all those weapons and upgrades :p The Traps are also therefore done now, and a lot of these weapons are integral to the LP - which I guess could be next. That or Mr. Grey Hunter, or the Skuldelev. Focused on this tier 1 stuff.

Warp. I contacted him, he never got back. Jones says all he ever got was the lp, not animated.
