Ok, here goes...the awesomeness that was just discovered.
Three worlds collide in a horrible yet beautiful event. The Chosen have decreed that the time had come to end the war between their world and the world of Aenir. They erected a barrier known simply as the Veil, which blocks out all light from the sun, and sent the Dark World (The Chosen's world) into an eternal frozen wasteland. The exception to this is the tall mountain upon which the Castle stands, the Castle houses the Chosen and their Underfolk, the servants to the Chosen. However the rest of the now Dark World isn't as posh as the Castle.
Two hundred years after the Veil was erected, a new entity arose on the ice. The Icecarls had been living on the ice for two centuries, unknown by the Chosen or the Underfolk alike. The Icecarls are a race of warriors, having to adapt to the harsh ways of the ice. Now they are banding together and forming a plan to invade the Chosen's castle so they can protect the Veil.
Now the Aenirians are intent on destroying the Veil and returning to the Dark World.
In the Dark World, Aenirians appear as shadows, and need light to survive. The Chosen, who weild the power of Sunstones can control enormous quantities of light gathered from the sun and stored in these stones. The light is a magical force, and can be used to harm, heal, shield and more. The Chosen have also found a way to travel to Aenir and bind Aenirians into Shadowspirits, servants who must follow their master's every command. The price of owning a Shadowspirit is one's own true shadow.
The Icecarl are out to destroy the Chosen, the Chosen out to conquer the Aenirians, and the Aenirians seeking to destroy both. Who will prevail? Magic of Might?
So all I ask is for the people interested to say so.
(Btw...yes this is all based on Garth Nix's The Seventh Tower series.)

That does sound kinda cool. I'm probably in.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

"The Seventh Tower"
"Light of Aenir"
"Beyond the Veil"
"The Shining Castle"
In other news... I AM SO IN!!! I've read all of those books at least three times apiece, and I've got to say that I really admire Nix for creating such a nice world. Of course, Abhorsen would also make a great RP, but one at a time... If you intend to start this up, I'll help you as much as I can. I just ask that I get to play a few games of Beastmaker first.
*Red Ray of Destruction FTW!*

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.
I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

Aenaeriae?
Only because you had to throw out the AE, I'll be playing as a character named Baldr. Or somthing like that. Aesir FTW.

If you meet me:
Have some courtesy,
Have some sympathy,
And some taste.
Use all your well-learned politesse,
Or I'll lay your soul to waste.

Meh, only problem is that once again I'm stressed for time <_<...I've been working on...something extraordinary that I might share with certain people here...but we'll see...for now it's Nowe's little side project freakshow.
Aaaaaanyways...if someone wants to take this idea and run with it, go ahead ;3
