Well, The mod is still producing, but slowly. If people (or a person) would like to see it progress faster then why not offer some assistance of skills?

What is needed in particular is a coder... There is an awful lot of code that goes into a faction. The visual work is nearly (if not entirely) complete for the factions destined to be released in the beta.

So, If anyone is interested give me a buzz, here, PM or on MSN. (vileartist99@yahoo.com)

I'm willing to help with the coding. I don't claim to be a master coder or anything, but I've got a couple years of modding experience (all coding). I can't really make bases for new factions (I suck at worldbuilder), but I can code them in. I have fairly signifcant experience in coding new heroes, units, and buildings. I can make limited changes to particlesystems (mostly just color and texture changes - nothing major). School's almost over, so I'll have a whole summer's worth of free time to mod. Also, I can't model or skin at all.

Let me know if you're interested. Many hands make light work.

P.S. I've never worked on a mod team before, but there's a first time for everything, right?

Add me on MSN when you get a chance (If you don't have on, I recommend getting one. A large percentage of modders here have MSN accounts. Myself included.)

I Don't have an MSN account. Could you tell me what's involved in getting one?
Or could we just exchange emails? That might be more convienient, seeing as how I'd be new to MSN.
If you don't like that idea, then perhaps I'm not the best person to be considering for help. My apologies.
I'm still willing to help, if this isn't too much of an inconvience for you.

EDIT: Dang it. Just got back to my gaming comp (I've been posting from my non-BFME-capable laptop up till now), and it appears that BFME has somehow gotten erased from my hard drive (My little brother is the prime suspect). And I can't find the product code thingy I need to reinstall it. Looks like I can't mod BFME at all now :p .

Uhhm... Well making an MSN account is easy. Just google MSN Messenger and download the messenger. Then create an account for Windows Live... (I've had experience with exchanging e-mails many time with Eldarion. I find it FAR easier to have an instant messenger.)

As for the code problem, Just look for your case. It is bound to turn up somewhere. If you cannot find it, Crack it. You've bought the game once, its not a big deal to crack it.

I can help, even if it's a little late to sign up. I'm getting pretty decent at coding (coded in orc pikemen to my game yesterday, they randomize between two models of pikes and can toggle between normal and porcupine formation) and I've been wanting something serious to work on.

Well, the thing is coding units is the least of my problems... the bulk of it is bug fixes with code and powers for spellbooks and heroes.
