Ok, so what do i edit to change the CaH's portrait i did the mapping and everything... but what do i edit to make it in use??
and do you like my new CaH model?

To use the portrait or whatever you need to change this:
\data\ini\mappedimages\aptimages\heroui.ini
MappedImage CPCaptainofGondor
  Texture = HeroUI_020.tga
  TextureWidth = 256
  TextureHeight = 256
  Coords = Left:0 Top:0 Right:192 Bottom:192
  Status = NONE
End

This is IF you are changing the Captain of gondor class, if you want to create a new class you need to do ALOT more :thumbsdownsmiley:
If you want to make a new class look for the tutorial on cah classes and such on the3rdage.net :unsure:

yeah, i mapped the image before you even said that!, but what part of text do i change to make the portrait change,
i mean i changed the buttonimage thing, but the picture portrait stayed at elf...

That is my new CaH model, for my new CaH class, dunedain ranger, and yes i'm making a new cah class so what do i change to have my custom portrait i have the mapping done like ages ago... for the portrait so what do i change to make my custom portrait appear instead of elf one...
oh one more thing, how do i make him start with a bow not without a sword?
my mod is called The Lost Kingdom you can download a beta 0.2 version on the 3rdage.net site, but i need some answers quickly because i have to finish it by 15th may...

Though im not sure if you want to use that guy ;) (dont look like a dunedain ranger) ;) (Ithilien, yes) :p
Throw him in the Archer/Elven Main CAH Class, just rename the Elven class :p I did that with my mod too :p
