• Assault Troopers can only be trained at a level 3 Dragon cave

Builder
Simple servants of the dragons, Builders can build a variety of building of the Draconis Vale.

Draconis Blades
Warriors and swordsmen of Minas Dracos are fearsome foes when equipped with Dragons Blood blades and Draconis plate.
The Draconis Blades are the melee backbone of the Dragons faction. Cheap, resilient, and strong in wiping out pikemen. Slapping Heavy armor and Forged blades can make them one of the most deadly of troopers.

Draconis Catapult
Siege weapons and destructive tools of mayhem, can tear down the sturdiest of walls. Catapult damage is maximized with the Dragon Embers upgrade.
Draconis Catapults are awesome to behold and have destructive firepower. Unlike regular siege weapons, Draconis Catapults have fast speed. Catapults should be built to destroy bases. But, money should be spent on Fire Drakes, due to accuracy.
• Draconis Catapults can only be trained at a Fortress

Draconis Ceremonial guard
Royal protectors of Derogate, use deadly pikes to skewer enemy cavalry and are clad in Draconis plate makes them a menacing foes.
Draconis Ceremonial guards have extreme armor and moderate damage. Ceremonial guards are manly used for the Defensive but, not Offensive. A good strategy is to deploy Ceremonial guard around important buildings like resources.
• Draconis Ceremonial guard can only be trained at a level 2 Draconis Barracks

Draconis Watchers
Ancient guardians of the Draconis Vale, are menacing with Draconis plate and Fire arrows upgrades.
Draconis Watchers are excellent game units, using a combination of heavy armor, and high damage. The main object of Draconis Watchers is to give them Dragon Blood arrows.

Drake Riders
Even the toughest of beasts are tamed by the Draconis Stone. Drake riders bring a blend of sheer Terror and power to the battlefield. Drake Riders can ram foes at full speed with crushing damage.
Drake Riders are powerful and quick Calvary, the horde equipped with Forged blades can have terrifying results. With the Banner carrier, Drake riders can emit a flaming inferno upon targets. The trampling and ramming do much damage as well.

Fire Drake
Deadly young dragons that haven’t developed flight. Using flame to scorch foes, Fire Drake upgrades with Draconis shards can improve damage.
Fire Drakes are the reason you should build a Dragon cave. The combination of fire-power and armor can be a terrifying enemy.
• Fire Drakes can only be trained at a level 2 Dragon cave

Withered Heath archers
Men from the lands of the Withered Heath, corrupted by the Draconis stone. These archers are deadly in pinpoint accuracy.
Withered Heath archers might not be resilient as Draconis Watchers, but Accuracy and damage is the deal here. When with Dragon Blood arrows and Draconis plate, you got your enemy on a one way trip to defeat.
• Withered Heath archers can only be trained at a level 3 Draconis Barracks

Structures

Battle Tower
Towers of the Draconis Vale are built to defend against powerful foes.
Battle Towers of Dragons are effective and have moderate health; upgrading these with Dragon Blood arrows can be worth it.

Draconis Armory
Even the massive armies of the Draconis Vale use mighty upgrades to show –and prove- that victory comes to the Dragons.

Draconis Barracks
From these barracks comes the forces of the Draconis Vale. Draconis Blades, Draconis Watchers, Draconis Ceremonial Guard, and Withered Heath archers are trained here.
• Draconis Ceremonial Guard can only be trained at a level 2 Draconis Barracks
• Withered Heath archers can only be trained at a level 3 Draconis Barracks

Caves of wealthy treasure attract dragons to the aid of the Draconis Vale. The caves are known to breed Fire drakes, Drake riders and train deadly Assault Troopers.
• Fire Drakes can only be trained at a level 2 Dragon cave
• Assault Troopers can only be trained at a level 3 Dragon cave

Fortress
The Fortress is the center of a Dragon base. You can customize it with a Varity of improvements and expansions. Builders, Heroes, and Draconis Catapults are recruited from the fortress.
• Draconis Catapults can only be trained at the Fortress

Lumber mill
A small camp that converts trees to resources.
Lumber mills are only good in forested maps; otherwise use Mess halls.

Mess Hall
Generates resources based on terrain. Even the armies of the Draconis Vale need food.
Mess Halls are primary resources for the Dragons faction. The better the number, better the resources, defending them is wise.

Wall Hub
The Walls of the Draconis Vale are tougher than Mithril and the Draconis Steel upgrade improves its armor.

Fortress Expansions

Citadel Catapult
A weapon machine of the Draconis Vale, using stones to kill enemies. The Citadel catapult can be upgraded with Dragon Ember Munitions.
Citadel Catapult’s are good for taking out stationary targets like archers, but not at moving. Money is should be spent on Assault Troopers and Fire Drakes.

Draconis Keep
This forgotten tower garrisoned with Draconis archers to kill nearby unexpecting enemies.
Draconis Keep is good for killing enemies invading your camp. Upgrading the Fortress with Dragon Ember Munitions can take it to the next level.

Wall Hub
Wall Hubs allows the player to expand the castle’s walls.

Fortress Upgrades

Draconis Steel
The fortress and walls receives Draconis Steel; one of the hardest metals in Middle-Earth. The Draconis Steel greatly increases the fortress and wall’s armor.
If you plan of getting Dragon’s Dawn Spire, you must get Draconis Steel; besides the Draconis Steel will make the fortress and walls near indestructible.
• Draconis Steel is a prerequisite for Dragon’s Dawn Spire

Dragon’s Dawn Spire
Constructs the tower that summons the dragons of Middle-earth and shows that the dragons are going to war.
Dragons Dawn Spire summons a Dragon to battle for you, so yes it’s a must have and it’s worth it.
• You must have Draconis Steel in order to build a Dragon’s Dawn Spire

Dragon Fire Munitions
Recovering the embers from a fire made by dragon breath, Archers in Draconis Keeps await these undying flames and igniting Citadel Catapults.
Dragon Fire greatly increase your fortress’s damage, using them will protect the base better.

Obsidian Towers
Covering the Fortress spires with Obsidian decreases the cost of Builders, heroes, and heroes arrive faster.
This is a must-have for Dragons, Decreasing the cost and recruit speed of heroes and builders.

Wyrm Moat
Draconis soldiers make a ditch and fill it with marsh water, attracting wyrms t the moat to protect the fortress.
The Wyrm moat should be bought if your fortress is attacked by swordsmen. If not, use the money on other supplies.

Unit Upgrades

Banner Carrier
This Banner Carrier displays the veterancy of your units and grants the all troops in the horde healing bonuses by showing the Banner of the eye of Ancalagon the Black.
• The Banner Carrier must be researched in the Draconis Armory
• You can equip a Banner Carrier only on a level 1 horde

Draconis Plate Armor
Wearing Draconis Plate makes Draconis soldiers a force of deadly destruction.
• Draconis Plate must be researched at a level 2 Draconis Plate

Dragon Embers
Draconis Watchers and Withered Heath Archers await the arrival of arrows ignited by a dragon’s undying flame to their horde to increase their damage against Ents and structures. Catapults can be upgraded to flaming rocks with this.
• Dragon Embers must be researched at a level 3 Draconis Armory

Forged Blades
Draconis forges deliver this blades, tempered in fire to eager Draconis soldiers.
• Forged Blades must be researched at a level 2 Draconis Armory

I think... that this faction is waaaaay too Overpowered. How is a faction like Mordor or Rohan going to have a chance against this faction? You just build your main hero and "boom!" battle is over.

Fantasy rating: 7/10
do-able rating: 4/10
fun rating: 1/10.

I'm sorry man, this faction would be awesome if you play it, but you've got to think about the people who will fight it.
If the above post offended you in any way,
please take note that, until further notice, I don't care, so get lost.

Taralom has a point this faction is much stronger than any others and second of all give a bit more variety to your units not just some big brute draconis men.

Maybe (just like in Isengard) make the units much more expensive, and maybe even lower health than elves. That makes them weak in early game but when the game advances (mid game) they are getting stronger :) .
(Dragons have walls :crazed: ;) ?)

Well, you got a point  But what Main hero? Derogate? I could cut out some powers and stuff. What power makes Derogate have so much firepower? :ermm:
Beside, Isengard have barly any varity either. :p
Well, sounds like this is scrap.

An way what would make this Faction more Fun, do-able, and Draconis aren't brutes, jus imagine a gondor soldier only they have scales, a tail, you know lizard features.

Before you start reading, this is all very high leveled and this would make your mod perfect, I would first start with getting knowledge of the Weapons BFME uses in the game :p.
First of all, you need many sounds (the baby dragon sound and Drogoth sound from BFME 2 everywhere are getting annoying very fast).
You have to make all your units look different too (not only green dragons, little fred dragons and giant blue ones). (See Dwarves, they have Axethrowers: White Beard, Pink look-a-like armor and having a versatile feeling, Phalanxes: brown beards, green armor and a bit less versatile feeling and Guardians: As far as I know no beards, yellow armor and the same feeling as phalanxes IMO)
And you need to counter all possible units.
Please note: if you can get this done, you might consider joining EA, because this is how they make an army :ermm:

Might I add that you'll need cavalry, or another form of fast troops to fend off archers. You'll need balance, so a faction will not perform suberb on all sides. If you want it to become very strong, make it very strong, but make it's buildings weak and easily destroyed. If you want your faction to become great in defending, make strong walls and great towers. If you want an overall good performance, make the walls weaker and it's units weak. To compensate a faction that is strong in defense, you'll make it's economy bad. A mainly spamming faction (--> BFME1 Mordor) give it cheap, very weak units.

You see, it's very hard, and still, we haven't even talked about actually getting it ingame yet. :p

no, i haven't read it. I read the last one, and noticed that you've got no experience with modding whatsoever, and thus need to start with one of the many aspects. This mod will never be, imo.
edit: I'm sorry to be so harsh, but at the moment, your plans are undoable and unbalanced.
