But RANK 3?! The nuke gen ranks faster than most other generals, and now he can build the biggest weapon in the game before most gens can build anything. The nuke general now seems overpowered.

Nuke General has no defense structure and his unit is weaker than most other counterpart (with a lot more firepower). Fighting against him requires a HIT-IT-BEFORE-IT-HITS-YOU tactic and a lot can happen in 12 minutes of Nuke Storm reload time.

But I wonder about Nuke General normal Nuke silo. Is it remained the same as earlier version (rank5+MIRV)?


Well, honestly, she was underpowered at 1st rank (because f weak defenses) and overpowered at 3rd rank (because of energy shields) in Contra 006. But it is fixed now.

I disagree with this (if it's 0.05, I would agree with creator). In 0.06 she got dozer drop at the beginning and can block enemy supply line quickly. I was playing as Nuke against SW in a match with my friend and he surrounded my base with firebases and patriots within 3 minutes of the game and he expanded his def into my base. I was almost defeated. Luckily, my howitzers+gattlings+listening posts help me out in the end.

Well, after reading the change-list, I think she's going to be better balanced.

(As far as I know) the dozer drop will be a rank 2 power. Hopefully, the dozer engine upgrade will work, and the defences will be stronger to compensate.

Both the Super weapon and Nuke generals are much weaker than they used to be.
Creator is taking steps to increase the power of the Nuke general (its still won't be close to has good has it was), But the Super weapon general is still complete pony (the 'my little pony' kind).

All of these useless alternative defences when all she needed was one stealthed tier 1 defence (built everywhere of course!), back in the day.

They're both a lot stronger than other factions in previous version. Balancing them would be great.

Nuke general? Yes, of course he is still powerful. Super weapon general? The Superweapon general only has one decent superweapon, along with her level 3 stealth bombing general power.
She can no cancel 90% of your attacks, by building endless shield generators and she has lost her 'end-game' Dozer rush (my big mouth).

Make it so that there is an easy and normal setting..... its too hard and that just ruins the game

I was hoping to see easier AI added don't get me wrong having really hard AI is great but makes it hard if not impossible to learn the strategies for the new units. I hope some easier difficulties can be added in.

Honestly, I was hoping for harder ai, they never make new bases, and depending on which general the AI is on, it can be really easy (Super weapon beats all because it just spams superweapons, and none of the other AI are aggressive enough to do much damage before being wiped off the map even if they are impossible and the SW is normal)

I think two new difficulties need to be added. The first is just beginner, longer time between attacks(for bots), quicker build times(for player), faster rank (for player). Then There should be Nightmare, Bots get insane resources, quicker build times, larger waves, more frequent waves but same rank up rate as insane. And maybe a bonus endurance mode? Bots get unlimited resources and just keep hammering the player until he or she is defeated? Progressive waves small then getting larger and eventually generals powers and super weapons. Just some thoughts.
