are there gonna be any changes to the units or new units

Some heroes will get new powers, but the main goal are all the new missions for the campaign.

Personally I'm quite happy with the original EA's assets. Actually most of the fan created artwork - be it maps, skins, models or videos - get worse than what is already in the game.

you know that screenshot that you uploaded on moddb; the one with sauron on the 7th level(the level with the tree) ,those orcs around him ,well the scene would look MUCH MORE IMPRESSIVE if you used some of the orc models from see mod(gorgoroth orcs,morannon orcs,and morgul orcs)

I also think maps are a lot more important than "code" (most mods are just a bunch of infantry reskins with Tolkien names), though it would be really nice to have some new quality content to really make the difference

yeah... well the new maps look awesome

I know a mod that does more, the Edain mod, for instance. They add ingenious ideas, like choosing a goblin king to get bonuses. This is one of their many great ideas.
