I realize that the Green Dragon is essentially the Spam Factory for T3A...but, really? This is worse than Segwayrulz randomly talking about the things that he talks about.

Actually, it isn't, but my point still stands.

Come on Rav, he was so excited! Remember when you were five years old?
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Same here! First editions from my dad. Man, I loved those, and probably still do.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Asterix books? Do you mean a whole book made out of *'s? How does that work?

Oh, and after rethinking, I was six when I was engrossed by The Boxcar Children, not five. I don't remember what I was doing then. Probably shoplifting toy boats and cookies.

And it's Vortigern's birthday today!

Also, Asterix kicks ass. For Rav's sake: every single character in those books has a pun for a name. Asterix (asterisk) is the small star, Obelix (obelisk) is the giant kinda-triangular guy, Dogmatix is his tiny little dog, Geriatrix is the aged druid, Vitalstatistix is the chief, and so on and so forth. Good old Gauls. :good:

Dogmatix is called idefix in dutch, the druid's dutch name is Panoramix and the chief is called Abraracourcix. :good:

That's because they're the same as in the French editions, aren't they?

...I love Asterix... although I've only ever read them in French. The issue I managed to figure out the most was when Asterix beat the Romans in a race by saying that there was a SUPER SECRET POTION in a shed. Then they drank it, got woozy, and he won. :good:
