Error building the mod related to a w3x file..

Right so, I've run into a tad bit of a problem, see, when I export a model and slap it ingame and then build my mod, it causes the mod not to launch properly and giving me a critical error message.

Now I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with any settings I do when exporting cos they're pretty much the standard settings and bla with hierarchical and all that shiznit.

This is the error i get when for instance w3x viewer tries to build it for viewing or modbuild.bat pops up when its builds it for ingame showing.:

Critical: XML validation error encountered in 'd:\modding\only war 2\models\civil\ground\generic building 1\cbegene1.w3x' near line 13:
Attribute X is not valid - the value 0,00000 is not valid according to its data type http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema:float - the string 0,00000 is not a valid Singe-value.

Some bits I've translated from mentally-challenged swedish.

Any Ideas?

Oh and anyone know what community site is the one to ask in when it comes to cnc3 modding these days? Cause i can't seem to find a single one that's relatively active..

Well, it has to be a problem with the model exporting process because the file is f*cked up. If you can't pin down the problem you might try to edit the w3x with a text editor and change the values the compiler complains about. But that's very hacky.

Oh and anyone know what community site is the one to ask in when it comes to cnc3 modding these days? Cause i can't seem to find a single one that's relatively active..

To be quite honest, I think you're just as screwed elsewhere as you are here :p

The Dark Lord is correct, the problem is related to the exporting of the models. To be more speciffic, the problem is the decimal sign.
The W3X files need "." rather than "," for the decimals.
There are pretty much 2 solutions: Do changes so that the models are exported with the right sign, or use the replace function in a text editor to replace the ","s with "."s.
(there are no commas in a normal W3X file, so the last method won't have any unwanted results).

As for sites to ask for help... tough one... most of the C&C 3 modding community is gone. If you have any advanced modding questions (not too basic stuff), I could perhaps try to help if you post on the C&C Society Forums where I'm most active.
For some reason, nobody seem to have asked for help there yet... perhaps they don't know that it's possible...

Cheers guys, I'll have a look and see if switching the , to .'s will help.

UPDATE: Woo it worked, awesome.

Think I'll just keep posting any questions that might occur on revora for now, I'll try your site aswell sheep... maybe.. :p

The official C&C forums (Tiberium Maps and Modding section) seems to be the most active of any of the big modding sites (PPM, Revora, Fallout, CNCMods.net, Derelict).
