Is Cirdan a single use hero? I was able to recruit him initially, though when he fell I was unable to revive him - sometimes he appeared at the citadel (though could not be revived). Other times he wasn't there at all.

When Cirdan dies, the citadel where he was bought has to be destroyed first before he can be recruited again. You can recruit him at the same citadel as long as it is destroyed and the rebuilt. He loses any experience he had previous to dying though.

A small bug about Cirdan:
If the player has bought Cirdan, but has less resources than what he would cost, the citadel uses this Posted Image button. When the player has Cirdan and enough resources to (hypothetically) buy him, the citadel uses this Posted Image button. This colourless button should probably be used in both cases.

Spearmen still get trampled in shield wall formation

Galadriel can't attack castle battle towers

Experience is gained by killing avari fighters (was untested) ;)

The arrow towers for rank 3 orchards work (was untested). Haven't tested other buildings yet though

Haldir seems WAY underpwered in the good campaign. I've had him at rank 6, unable to kill rank 1 orcs in one shot. :p nothing to do with buffs or anything, just not as poweful as he should be.

In Mirkwood, you can win the match after you destroy the mordor castle, but not dol guldur. Also, if you use celeborns summon, you can wind up with two identical celeglins ;)

EDIT:

The elven build plots aren't placed right for the outpost plot i.e. the outpost is not exactly in the center. when you build some buildings (e.g. barracks), the building intersects with the citadel.

The Elven Castle doesn't get destroyed unless you also destroy all the defence plots

If you want Theodred and the Mouth, you'll have to go to a different mod. I believe KotW has both.

They are great Warrior! As Gil-Galad :p

*were, they are both dead (as is Gil-Galad) during the War of the Ring. And this project won't add any units. It's only fixing bugs and adding skins that the mod creator, Celeglin made.

Though Gil-Galad can easily be added, that remains a choice for the player.
There is no use in having long dead men fight for your cause, and in my opinion, Isildur was one of the worst warriors in the history of the Third Age.

:p Only one mistake he made...but if he didn't take the one-ring and destroy it...an epic adventure won't happend. :umad:

Love the mod, just had a couple comments about some of the heroes.

A lot of the heroes in this mod don't seem to have a flavor of their own - Thrandil, Celeborn, ect, they have a couple powers and some leaderships but aren't important to most games.

What if Thran's teleport spell was improved on? Right now he isn't that great a hero, but if the range and casting speed and recycle on his teleport power were increased you could have a BFME version of Red Alert's chrono legionaire. He isn't that great of a fighter, so it really wouldn't be a problem with balance, and it would add a lot of interest to the hero for hit and run tactics.

As for celeborn, would it be possible to remove the timer on the hero he summons? Cele doesn't offer much other than a couple small leadership bonuses, so if the hero (forgot his name) that he can summon stuck around permanently it would make training him something like getting two for the price of one. The galadrims could stay on the timer, just for the first time you cast his summon you get the other hero for free and after that he has normal hero rules and a respawn price.

Other than that the mod is great, spearmen seem to level a bit too slow but otherwise it's balanced nicely. All the archers match my more defensive playstyle perfectly.

In the Brownlands level Rohan cant build the Entmoot. I tested it when I was scouting (looking if it is a good place to battle) with Rohan. I dont know if this is listed or not. I didnt have the time to read all three pages.

Ok, I'm beginning the changes for 1.1 (see first post of topic for details). :p

elrond's vilya power doesn't seem to work on heroes (or atleast lurtz and ugluk). It knocks them away, but they don't get held in place.

I tried fixing this and it should work, but it is not. So I just edited the description text saying that heroes cannot be stunned. :p

TNot to be too picky, but the first post says Glorf's starting level is back to 1? i'm pretty sure it was 5 before

@ drogoth: i'm not sure, but is Brownlands siege restricted maybe?

Ents can be build on ANY level. Entmoots can be build in seige restricted areas. And don't forget, Entmoots cost 5000 dollars.

I tested drogoth's problem about entmoots in Old Brown Lands and it worked fine for me. Ents were smashing up orcs left right and centre :p

Another thing I thought of, since Celeborn's leadership affects heroes, why not give him a hero-only xp grant? Grants enough xp to level a fast leveling hero like Haldir one level, 2 minute recycle.
