Yes, it's the same mod, just moving to SC II. The game is just perfect for what we want to do with the mod, and is too good of an opportunity to let pass. :omg:

I may be willing to do 2d art, though that's not listed. I'd love to do starcraft style 2d art. However, As I've mentioned at various other mods, I'm pretty busy and do have a previous arrangement with the BFME Battles of Narnia Mod, which I'd like to do work for firstly if I lend my services to anyone.

I'll keep this in mind though, if your looking for 2d artists.

Sure, that'd be great. It'll be a while until SCII comes out, so don't worry about having to do anything soon.

I can model some stuff in 3dmax, I am working for a BF 2 addon, this is some stuff I have done for the mod (not much because we have truble with the exporting)

I dont have THA SKILZ but if you need to make a list of statics (not organic ones) I may be able to help. I dont want to be "recruited" as a developer or anything, but if you need some help just ask, I will be glad to help.

I understand. For now we're not really doing anything specific, just working on random assignments. When SCII comes out, I may put out a list of models that haven't been done. But that'll be a while, so don't worry about anything for a long time.

I think you could, but since you already did, it would be rather useless :cool2:

Anyways, I haven't modded SC1 or Warcraft or anything, so I'm not sure what kinds of art would be needed. I guess thinks like buttons and the like... And the UI, which was different for each faction.

In SC1 there was an option to have still images for portraits instead of the animated models. Does this require a pic or does it just use the first frame, or something?

The buttons in SC1 are real simple... Just a hand drawn icon with a single color. That's great. I've grown tired of spending most my time on 2d-art looking for pics to use, in the case of BFME.

But this is all just hypothetical at the moment.
