After a great deal of behind-the-scenes chatter concerning an online Revora magazine, we decided to unveil our [read: TEG's] idea to the public. The magazine is now recruiting article writers and layout people. We want people who are dedicated, have initiative, and posess a strong grasp of the English language.

Currently, we are in need of 3 to 4 dedicated article writers, with a possibility of expanding later on. So, if you wish to join up, apply in here. To apply, just post up a sample of your writing (preferably in a journalistic style) and you'll be considered. Article assignments will start being announced during the beginning of the month, and we should have the issue done by the start of September.

As I can't be bothered to post this same topic in the Graphics section, I'd also like to point out that we'll need layout designers. We have not yet decided on our exact preferences, but the majority seems to think that a PDF format would work best. There's a great deal of graphical talent here, so I'm hoping that we get a good response. Articles will need graphics, of course, and there may even be an opportunity for people to make their own political cartoons...

Anyway, I suppose that's all for my current attempt to recruit people. Come to me! :)

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

@Athos or TheElderGod: What will be in the magazine? Will it just have news about mods and such?

Will the writers be responsible for tracking down all the new information and interviews, or will other members and staff let the writers know what's new and then the writers make an article about it?

I little bit of both. The writers can right about whatever they want. But if some staff tells you some news too, post in the forum telling what it is, and someone will step up to do it. So you won't ever be forced. Andnot all news will be written about, we can't "force" it.

How frequently is the magazine to be released? I'm considering doing a regular feature, if the frequency isn't too quick.

So far as I'm aware, on a monthly basis. I'd prefer bi-monthly myself, but that's just me being individualistic

I can't see much that we do that can interest the public. We don't manage enough of the moding world to bring out a series of magazines with consistent, interesting articles. Great idea though... if it works.

I nominate Puppeteer as the Layout Designer.
Since I really can't be arsed to write anything longer then a 10 page short story, I'm not going to attempt to join.

Hello everyone. I am back.

It isn't just about modding.. to my knowledge it'll have lots of other things included in it. If I had my way modding would be put on the back-burner so that more creative things could be brought to the forefront. Revora is about creativity as a whole, not just modding.

Well, TEG, I'm interested in doing a regular feature. Maybe about BFME modding or something related to writing is probably best. Would you like an essay or something from me?

'How existentialism has shaped the hierarchy of Revorian authority and contributed to the rise, and decline, of tolerance towards opinions.'
