Hi, and welcome to the MesoCosmos forums. The official website isn't up yet, but in the meantime you can find more information on the MesoCosmos ModDB page. MesoCosmos is a StarCraft II Total Conversion which projects to alter the 3 races in a way which will retain the essence of having them as different from each other, but also as different from their counterparts, aka the Terrans, Protoss and Zerg. Currently, the only progress which has been made to the mod is planning and concept arts since the MesoCosmos teams has no concrete material to work on for the simple reason that StarCraft 2 is still in development by Blizzard Entertainment.

Great, another mod planned. this looks pretty cool.
So your keeping the basic faction concepts but with all new units and structures?
I guess I'll just throw this out. I few days ago I thought of something that would be cool for the zerg (though it probably wouldn't fit into the normal game too well): Siamese twins as a zerg unit. That is, something like two twin creatures that are attached. Idk, just a thought. I picture them (or it) being a melee ground unit about the strength of the Hydralisk. I dismissed this idea after thinking of it but when I saw this mod I thought it might fit in... If you like it.

@ Gfire, the idea of MesoCosmos is to make a whole new game by reskining and doing some remodelling of current units/doodads and completely changing their basic roles. The end result is going to be completely different from StarCraft II. Also, MesoCosmos is a universe in which magic exists, so already there is a contrast. And as for the siamese unit, we're not planning on making any models from scratch that would require extensive animation work, but thanx for the thought

Well, that's true... Siamese twins could use existing/edited models, but I don't think you'd really get the point of them without an entirely new model.
