You need WF before 2nd Supply and you can skip barrack in some maps (with no tech buildings).

Against AI.....you just need to prevent them from expanding to 2nd supply and keep destroying the frontline defense (they will keep rebuilding and lose money). You can also disrupt their assembly area (AI builds units and assembles them somewhere not too far from their factory). Doing so would slow down AI attack and you will face smaller number. Bring in some air support if you have to (they're good against light targets). And once you gain some advantage, press on to their main supply.

i seem to have some problems against supw gen late game,espicyally if i am playing as gla.
i know its better try to take out supw gen early,but if your rush fails and he ranks/techs,you can't do anything,espicyally if he amasses stealth detectors.
there was a 3ffa game(i was gla toxin) i was playing,i expanded to mid map,controled there and kept it there until mid game,when supw gen player bombed me with his tomahawk defences,at first i could destroy them with bikes,but then he build patriots,and i couldn't do anything,except making him destroy the defences himself with my rebel ambush(almost took out the praticle cannon with that tactic :p),and support powers. then he controlled mid and bombed my base from there,and i was pretty much finished.
so any suggestion how to play against supw gen late game(as gla)?

can the Cannon Drone even go head to head with enemy tanks?

nope,you must use it mainly as hit'n'run unit(with tow upgrade),later if you are rank 3 i recommen using search & destroy<--increases range,which helps with hit'n'run,also the stealth upgrade(rank 5)helps too.against tanks toe to toe i recommendd missile cyborgs,as long as you can kill enemie's anti-infantry first,they will pawn tanks cost-effectively,Exoskeletons helps too.

it is not that easy bomb trucks stack in mass grup
swg just scud and attack and blow all wth one shot he have mass comp weapons))
SWG get 3 stars rank faster

best way to win vs him ,, just rush with micro in the game beginning....

just rush with micro in the game beginning....

thats true,but my proplem is what to do in late game,not early game,sometimes it can go on.

Bomb Trucks in ZH will blow one another up to pieces but not in Contra.
Since they don't destroy one another, you can mass them and attack en masse.

The Bomb Trucks of all GLA factions receive adjustment to balance it out.

seriously,supwgen is starting to get on my nerves...

Bomb Trucks in ZH will blow one another up to pieces but not in Contra.

defences have aoe attack,and since zh has suck-ish pathfinding(i now its not contra's problem),they stack 90 % of the time..

and today i played a random ffa,me tank,other 2 supw and airf,i was able to take control of middle (3 derricks!) from supwgen and finished of airf. player early,and build another base on his base,and started pumping tanks,i did the mistake that i used a lvl1 artillery barrage on power plants(tought it will destroy it,but didn't,had it destroyed the PPs,i think i would have won,as he didn't had any units),and send my tanks,with my first wave i could get in the base,but after that he just had a wall of defences that i coud only destroy a little of each 5 min after killing PP with artillery barrage(lvl2),but he just rebuilds pp and defences work again in like 10 sec or something,until he had level 5 and bombed my units with powers and my base with superweapons(altough i still had a big part of my base,i didn't have money any more(supply depots were depleted),so i surrendered)
so i had 2 bases,and he had 1 fortfied base with defences that just can't be taken out....,and i attacked from 2(of 3) different directions at the same time too....
i know i should have tried to finish him before airf...,but....
any tips playing against supw gen mid-late game?those cyclones and tomahawk just kill me...,early firebases annoy me too.

Use emperors with upgraded armor, then any artillery is useless against them, including tomahawk. Combine them with ecm tanks to deviate patriot missiles, then you will crush his defenses.

NOT ONLY late game but in the early game sw gen is OP to l play sam games and now l se better this balance in the maches
security systems cost only 700$ and they kill easy 6 tanks and 10 inf'
F117 stealthed fighter this plane is very undetected by radar wan or other stealah detection all radars detect them to late
sw gen have amos tank
and comanche to
they have to much at the game start+ sw+ fire base all that make them not balanced and very hard to kill then other generals at the game start

yeah firebases are annoying,and are availble too early imo,and artillery are supposed to pwn defences,but if you play against sw gen,defences pwn artillery.
i don't have problems with F-117,as they have suckish damage vs. units,and security systems aren't that bad(except on high armor buildings,like cc,wf,sw and the like).
and honestly who needs amos when you have firebases and later tomahawk defences?

Maybe but sw gen with air suport is very hard to kill players just build scud storm and wiat in base with big line of defence
fire base are the best long distance weaponns in early game with air and chapers suport they are invincible
inf gen the miniguners shot to late plane escape very fast from them
and the altirery is very weak vs fire base
when l play dr thrax it same he dont have anti aa vehicles on start only inf they are to slow to kill fast air and
the mobile mortars are dead very fast vs firebase
