Hey, I've just created my first map for WC3:TFT, but when I go to play it, it just comes up with Worldedit, as the players name, even though I;ve created 4 players start points on the map. It won't let me add any players or teams against me when I load up the map on TFT.

I've probably missed something out lol, can anyone help?

I've never made a WC3 map but you may have to fiddle around with the ffa/ums settings. In starcraft there wasn't a way to do a team game with the AI, that I know of.
Greetings, community.

Hmm, I'll play around with the player settings and such, it does have 4 start points for 4 different players. So really it should allow 4 players lol. I may to check out some guides, then post the solution here. Heck, I may even need to create a guides forum lol, if we can get enough guides in.

Dant, all you need is your CD-Key. Then you can enter it in the new Battle.net and get a new 26 digit CD-Key and download the client (fully patched and no-cd cracked) legally from Blizzard themselves, then use the installer you just downloaded and install the game with your new key.

I did that with both WC3, TFT, D2, and D2:LoD. It just works :good: Gotta love the new Battle.net

Yeah, the new battle.net is awesome, that's how I got my Starcraft but it keeps saying my key is being used when I try to go online, so whoever is using it is gonna get my foot up their behind lol!

The maps not bad, but when the map starts, the camera starts for each player at the wrong point, I set it to their own base but it still comes out wrong, can anyone have a look in world editor for me after downloading the map?

It most likely wouldn't work at all. Mainly due to the CD-keys on the internet being used time and time again.

The faster you get your CD-Key chained to a new Battle.net account, the faster you'll be CD independant.

It was the very first thing i did. However, if you have Warcraft 3 installed on your computer, and it's updated to the latest patch, you can download a tool that extracts your keys from the datafiles of Warcraft 3 and tells them to you. (I used that because i couldn't find my manuals)
