Good stuff.
Bruce's voice is surprisingly strong considering his age, and Maiden's writing as good as ever.

Think you'll actually appreciate this one:
Nice vintage-yet-modern feel to it.

Oh, I missed that one. I actually quite like it. Almost sounds like Nightwish, minus the super cheesy lyrics.
Meanwhile on the Perturbator front, he has announced that his upcoming album, Uncanny Valley, will be coming out later this year. In the meantime, he has other projects that are of interest.

Gawd there's so much compression on his stuff... I just can't listen to it anymore. Tried going back to I Am The Night but it just crushes my ears. Used to love it to.
That Lucifer is track is pretty cool. Made me go back a listen to Don't Fear the Reaper. The guy looks a lot like "that bloke" from Blue Oyster Cult.

Yea, I've realized I don't like 90% of his work. Dangerous Days was a bit boring, as well. But I am the Night still has a few quality numbers in it. Like Desire. The "Do you really want somebody else" part is still a real doosy for me.

Been drifting through a eve online playlist on spotify as of late, found this swede doing some chillout sci-fi music. also worked on Mirror's edge by the looks of it on last.fm, so not bad.

Turns out this planet is made of evil:
Rotting with your christ
I can see
The impending suffering
Your words vanishing
Christ for the weak
False
Messiah
of
Mortality
Lord of lies
Rotting their minds
Bastard childs
We deny
Despise
His heavenly lies
I have freed
My mind of god
Condemn
Your kingdom come
Your
Mindless
Followers
We despise
Prophets for the weak
Your followers blinded
Dreams, Eternal paradise
Rotting with your Christ
I see blood
And obliteration
Humanity's sake
This JESUS must DIE
ROTTING WITH YOUR CHRIST

13 year olds don't use naughty swear words. That's for adults.
We think its edgy to insult Perturbator these days, but he did come out with this... strange music video recently. Featuring Complete Domination, which was one of the few songs from his newer album that I actually didn't mind.

this ain't goth. The goths have their own musical genre, and this is not it.
THIS is considered goth music:
What a bunch of boring ass fucking shit. Goth people are fucking panzies that like to feel bad about themselves. Emos are goths that have been lobotomized.
What I posted, is like hatred speech; it's demeaning and spiteful towards an established religion - it is an attack against christians and catholic. Its a fun drinking song, or a nice song to get high to. Its a good reminder on how fucking RETARDED religion is; on how much of a scam it is.
The screaming, or growling - yes: I could definitely do without.
I just want those wicked ass guitar riffs, brye:
Also, Mathijis: you don't like smoking weed........... why not, exactly?
@ Mathijis: Listen to the song, fully. If you do, you (should pick up) know It wants to kill off a psychically manipulative organization, an old group full of lies - a fucking traitorous group... where as "goths"? Goths want to kill themselves, for reasons not pertaining to actual real life organizations. Fucking weaklings!
This song is the embodiment of it's the author, displayed through the stringed instruments, with some percussion. The artist does know his sovereignty, and, makes a decision based off of his surroundings: he wants to kill off all religion, especially the more well known ones to white people that are not jews.
This song is a response, coming from a host that realizes, that Religion is a cancer to it's body; based off of incorrect synapse responses and connections, the body slowly ends up killing itself, without the host even realizing why theres a problem in the first place. Incomplete humans.
FUCK me, Mathijis. Did you even listen to the song? Gothic? What the hell are you talking about.

I too have trouble associating those sorts of things, so I just categorize them as "Strangely Emotional People." Or SEP, if you will.
Now for your regularly scheduled 80's music.

Uh what? Did I say the SONG was goth? No! I didn't even listen to it. I said the LYRICS read like they were written by some 13-year old goth kid. Reading comprehension, ahoy. Because they're terrible. You know, cliché, corny, unoriginal... do I need to get my thesaurus out?
Also, who told you I didn't like to smoke weed?
EDIT: I listened to 10 seconds of the song. No, I would not smoke weed 'to' this.

Only just read the text in your posts.
it is an attack against christians and catholic
Edgy.
Also, Mathijis: you don't like smoking weed........... why not, exactly?
You're so hardcore.
If you do, you (should pick up) know It wants to kill off a psychically manipulative organization, an old group full of lies - a fucking traitorous group...
What an original thought.

See, thing is, that this song isn't as terribly deep as you're making it out to be. I mean, for one, the whole song delivers very simply the message that 'religion is bad' - thanks for your opinion. Second, it assumes that anyone who follows religious teachings is unable to make their own decisions, and that they are generally stupid or evil. Come on, man - I like a lot of music that's anti-religious (or just generally anti-whatever) but there's no lyrical inventiveness here to make that message any more progressive than the last. It's very flat on content.
EDIT: Also who cares about what makes something goth/emo/etc? That is the silliest argument I've seen yet here.
