From what I just saw, Bjork is weird. I never could understand the appeal in making music and videos that are as weird as possible with no real meaning to them. I guess it's not a bad thing, in perspective.

Hotline Miami have given us a few examples of great nostalgic music, here's some from perturbator, one of the groups that made music for it:

My favorite right now

Entire album.

How cool would it have been if the new blade-runner movie went with music of this style. It would have been a riot :)

If I spoke... Brazillian I guess it might have been more my style. I have to say we in Revora have a global list of members with different tastes, which is a good thing.

For some reason It reminded me of a Norwegian band named Datarock, been used a bit here and there in different western media like fifa10 and series. Funky though, and now they might get along in the Eurosong-contest if they can be the local opera-deathmetal challenger.

Anyway, some Infected-mushroom / astrix coop work-in-progress out there:

Fantastically atmospheric track from the new Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds album... you should do a review Irene!

10 Pasi-bucks can get you the doo-doo on a used peice of toilet paper... but not all of it.

Of Monsters and Men was alright.  The video was pretty good, though I don't think I found a murderous transvestite in a peacock outfit an appealing antagonist.  Helping shading looking people in an air balloon doesn't make you a protagonist.

Glenn Miller, outclassing Beethoven yet again.  This time, it's personal.  Perfect music for any gentlemen scientist's leisure.
