Evil is awesome; most of the time, evil have the more advanced technology, larger numbers, strong dark magic, etc. In most fantasy; there is good & evil, light and darkness (or shadow, case may be). If there was a faction under Morgoth's banner, add the dang dragons!!! Maybe Ancalagon the Black as a Fortress or Ring hero? But, Morgoth would tip more into the Ring hero than Ancalagon.
