Hello,

Lately I've encountered a serious problem in the Core Worlds campaign playing as the Empire. I started a Core Worlds campaign vs a medium AI and all went well, until I looked at the history of their Economy, it was sky high! So I also clicked on the Military tab, and found out they haven't build anything! So I figured this could be a problem with loading the campaign again or something, so I started the campaign again from Tech 1 vs. Hard AI. And even the hard AI isn't very keen on building anything.

I tried to solve the problem myself, deleting other mods from my mod folder (which is only my own mod), because this is what PR suggests when you have a dead AI. After that the AI still refused to build anything, even after multiple attacks. So what is this problem? The AI isn't dead, they still use the same tactics in Skirmish.

I think there's a theory about the AI seeing that it has too much relative power, and stops doing things. Or something.

Have you checked all their planets to see if they have a huge fleet laying around?

No they haven't, on the other campaign I have like 5x their relative power.

Well, to start, space, land, and galactic AI operate almost wholly independent of each other.

I think there's a theory about the AI seeing that it has too much relative power, and stops doing things. Or something.

Believe it or not, PG actually coded a Shutdown_Offense logic for the AI (BasicGenericTemplates.xml). It's only supposed to trigger during campaign play:

<Should_Shutdown_Offense_For_Story_Campaign>
		Game.IsStoryCampaign
		*
		Variable_Self.IsDifficulty{Parameter_Difficulty_Level_Type = DifficultyLevelType[Easy]}
		*
		(5 > Variable_Human.PlanetsControlledUnnormalized)
	</Should_Shutdown_Offense_For_Story_Campaign>
But perhaps I should disable it anyways, just to be safe.

Oh, and don't delete them from the Mods folder; just Art, Scripts, and XML under FoC\Data need to go.
