Mordor, how it should be.

sorry this doesnt seem to make sense well it did but NO IM NOT ALLOWED TO POST [IMG] IMAGES!!!!GAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
WHO MADE THAT RULE THATS RETARDED?! hOW ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO SUPPORT WHAT I SAY WITHOUT IMAGES?!!! well if you want the crap below to make sence message me and il specify. I had no idea i couldnt use images with img thats so lame.
Im still posting this cuz it took me forever i dont want it to go in vain.



If you have
ROTK extendid cut you will see a documentary on the
races of middle earth and hoe Jackson wanted them to look like. Earlyer they were gonna
have the Orcs of Mordor (specificly the ones in the 3rd age)look like this.

Just like the ones seen in the 2nd age. Now the problem Jackson saw was that these orcs are
the main arch enemy troops and they looked weak compared to ther allies, isengard.
And these are not the main antagonist troops. Jackson feared that the seige of gondor would
look weak compared to helms deep. So weta workshop did 2 things.

1) They made the orcs stand sraight and made them more buff.

Look they all stand striaght and ther bulky. Ther standing in a more dicipined manner
unlike the mordor orcs from the prolouge and the moria orcs.

2) They gave them new outfits an new look.



Now alot of moders and fans and site are saying that these come from Morgul because the scene
in the film witch shows them coming from Morgul not to mention Gothmog the leader
is the liutenant of Morgul and the books mention the invasion on minas Tirith was from 2 hosts
1 from the black gate and 1 from Morgul. Thats true but in the movies I saw orcs with this armor
at the black gates. Ther are still orcs that dont waer it but they still stand straight.

Now EAs orcs did not have any of these things. The models were crapy and weak. Its safe
to say that mordor was left out in EA and Isengard got the spotlight, wich doesnt make sence
cuz mordor is Saurons faction and Sauron is the main antagonist. The orcs from minas morgul and the
black gate had the spikey aromor and the crap aromor but they were all diciplined buff and they were
mixed. Im not a moder but Iv tried to find mods with these and so far none. So for those
of you who want to fix mordor or make a mod please consider this. Heres what i think
should be done to mordors orcs.

1) Use or make a Skeleton that stands straight and looks bulky for all Mordor Orc units
including siege.

2)Orcs of Mordor should not be the weakest unit in the game. they shouldnt be stronget than
Uruk Hai but not pathetic like goblins. I the film they kicked Gondors but. Watch.
Now if you watched the video you probably noticed the aromor and height I mentioned.
A few orcs here and ther were short but the majority were strong bulky and at least 6ft.
Also look at the weapons they used. Crude spears and skimatars hammers and maces.
look in this image for the weapons.


3) An idea i got from the RJ mod. Orcs will start off with the leather scrap metal aromor(A variety look of helms weapons and so on)
then they purchas a Black aromor upgrade withc makes them tougher and has the spiky aromor look.

4) morgul orcs(elite warriors). This unit is used in many mods. They automatically have the aromor upgrade and forged blades upgrade.

5)the black aromor will look uniformed but with different helms and skirts(idk what the proper term is for leg aromor)
Plus the morgul orcs will have cresent shields symbolising the tower of the moon(morgul) and a custom banner. Plus the banner
mordor should look like this.

Mordor banner. Morgul Banner(Idk who did this but its good. The eye banner should be the same model.

6)Mollock or Gorgoroth should be a Troll hero as he has in some mods.


7) There should be elite archers for mordor other than haradrim. im thinking the typical weak aromor and tough damage thing.
Perhaps they will be called Morannon Marksman or Guldur senteries with the scrap aromor look without helms.

8) Calvalry. Slow mumakil as calvalry?No. There should be orc warg ridders of mordor. They will have the scrap aromor look.

9)Gothmog,Gorbag,Shagrat should be available heros. All nine nazgul on horse fellbeast and foot.(I realy likes S.E.E. nazgul
setup. Or have witch king and 2 nazgul hero hordes. 1 with 4 horses and another with 4 fell beasts. Both hordes should toggel
foot/steed. Witch king will toggel all 3. plus all nine will be tough. If ther separated they should all have there proper names uniqe
powers and so on. like witch king has summon morgul orcs and Khumal(the black easterling) will have summon easterlings.

10)I really dont like the Khumals iv seen. they look nothing like easterlings. Khumal should have shoulder pads(again termanology)
and a helm over his black cloak.His aromor should look like rhunic aromor made for a king but colord grey to have the nazgul look.

11)Orc heros. Gothmog is the leader of morgul shagrat is a black uruk and gorbag is from morgul but thers no
commanders of mordors main army so i had these characters in mind.

The orc on the left. In the film he was like an orc officer. One of these 2 should be able to match lurtz.

12)Black Uruks. There are many versions out ther.I prefered S.E.E.s black uruks. They should be the best of the
best of all evil infantry. They should have very intimidating helms.they will toggel heavy sword and bow.

13)Powers.mordor should have a summon easterlings/haradrim/khand/or even isengard allies. Plus they should have
powers that hepl the economy and buff up heros.

14)Great beasts. Should be removed from dwarv faction and be repaces with horses. Mordor could have them as a early
game unit a bit tougher than trolls but weak health.If its to unbalanced just remove them from dwarvs and keep them in
custom mordor maps or something.

15)Evil Men.Harad/khand/Rhun/umbar. Id prefer them to be seperat factions but if they stay this is what I had in mind.

Rhun Barracks-Easterling swordsman lvl1(elite swordman)
-Easterling Pikeman lvl2(elite pikeman)
Harad Keep-Haradrim Spearman lvl1(more like close range spears tough damage weak health)
-Haradrim Archers lvl1 (elite archers tough damage weak health)
-Mumakil lvl3 (stronger/bigger/filled with archers plus mumak rider/If mumak tipsarchers will leap out as
spearman and attack. Mumak Riderr will join ranks with them.
Haradrim will be upraded with fire arrows and forged blades. Easterlings will not need upgrades,Best of evil men.
Corsairs will be recruited from Harad Keep since Umbar is only a city and its next to harad.They will be a sword/bow
toggel unit available a harad keep lvl 2. Srong damage weak aromor but can have aromor upgrade.

Khand Outpost-Khand Swordsman lvl1 (weakaromor but strong damage.)
-Variags of Khand lvl2 (strong calvalry. weak aromor)
Khandish will upgrade in heavy aromor.

16)Banners. All orc bannercarriers will have the spiky armor but wear intimidating helms that resemble sauron(not to much). Only change is the banner logo
of morgul and Gudur

Easterlings carriers will look the same but silver aromor instead of bronze.

The star in the middle of the rhun sheild will be the new easterling logo. It resembles the
hot sun since they live in dessert terrain like the haradrim. the banner will not hang it will flow.

Haradrim carriers will be the same with the war mask but a better skin plus the flag will hang.

This will be the flag of harad minus the eye ontop of the snake. The books clearly say the haradrim have
scarlet banners with a black snake.

Khand carriers will have a rising sun logo. half a sun. I always imagined the Khandish as the asians of middle earth
like the mongolians and asia is the land of the rising sun so ther. The khandish should look like
the age of men models or something simaler.

Umbar Carriers will have a flowing flag with a skull of a fellbeast logo painted white.

Black Uruk carriers will hold the red eye standard but in a flag from and the carrier will wear no helm.





17).Seige towers. Also I dont like EAs seige towers

18)Buildings. Whats with the lame structures for Mordor?
Fans say that the orcs should look tribal cus they dont have time to make structures out of brick
so they use wood and scrap metal. If thats the case then MotW should be the same way but ther not.
Come on people look at these.

Mordor hase the coolest aritechure in the films(in my opinion) so why not make Mordor Barracks with
the look of Barad dur/Dol guldur/ and the black gates? And of course give them walls.The dul guldur walls
look kinda lame to me so why not make them more like the gates(not exactly like them)? And why is mordors
arrow towers so thin? Thats very unrealistic. the fortress could use more detail to. and the gorgoroth spire,
what were you thinking EA?Its a cool spell but it looks cartoonish.
heres a list of mordor building i thought of.

:Mordor Barracks-orc warriors/spearman/morgul warriors
:Mordor Archery Range-orc archers/morannon sentries/black uruks of barad dur
:Mordor Beast Pin-mordor wolvs/ warg ridders/great beast(or not)
:Mordor Troll Cage-mountain troll/attack troll/drummer
:Mordor Seige Works-battering ram/catapult/seige tower/Grond
:Mordor Slaughterhouse-gather resources from meat
:Mordor Prision-increases slaughterhouse production.the idea is that prisioners are sent from here to the slaughterhouses.
:Mordor Sauron Statue
:Mordor Blood Well-a well filled with blood of victims causes troops to be motivated and gain ther enery back thus heals them
:Mordor Wall Hup-creat walls catapults arrow towers and gates and postern gates.
:Mordor Battle Tower-not so thin like EAs.
:Mordor Fortress
:Harad Keep
:Rhun Barracks
:Khand Outpost

19)Evil men Heros.
Rhun-Khumal the black easterling
-Ulfang some eaterling swordsman with silver aromor and a unique helm and rhunic mace
Harad-Suladan the serpand lord toggel mount/foot warrior with standard and sword
-Ghafid
umbar-Peter Jackson character
Khand-A king who can mount and use bow and sword.

These are just Ideas of mine and observations iv noticed over time. If you like them great if you dont cool.

cant find it. well its to late but thx. Yeah i aint a moder i just have alot of idea that i wish i could do but i dont have time for it so i figured
some modders might think about them. sigh. im not a comp wiz so idk what im doing. but i tried. By the way that ridder mod is it any good?

You mainly focus on Mordor, thus making Mordor overpowered with it's new units, stronger units, powerful units etc. So what about the other factions? They are underpowered when you implement this system. You will have to add units to the other factions as well in order to maintain the game's balance.

The ideas are not bad and many are usable ...
They are mostly re-skinning / re-modeliing ideas tho :p
I like the Summon Easterlings - maybe for a Hero
Mordor walls
9 nazguls (I have WK summon 3 Fellbeasts)
Troll hero - I like this
Gothmog will put him in ...

What i dont like :
Summon Isengard allies , Warg rider orcs: Keep Faction Specific models
Two types of ELITE archers (3 in all) - don't see why

Overall good ideas ^_^

Yeah I agree that mordor and all Factions should be balanced. Im not trying to make a mod I just noticed that Mordor is always left out. Yea 3 elite archers isnt necesary but idk why Mordor cant have wargs? In the books both Isengard and the orcs(goblins) of the misty mountains had wargs why not Mordor?
Good point though have the factions different. Thx for the feedback i didnt expect people to respond. Dont get me wrong mordor isnt the only faction that needs improvement and I do want the game to be like the movies and books but still be fair fun game.

Little note to add: more units DOES NOT EQUAL overpowered. I could make a faction with fifteen types of orcs 'n stuff and have it pretty balanced :p... answer to balance is not to add units to the other factions, but to balance the units you added first properly. Feature creep sucks.

I have my "own perfect" concept for a Mordor faction though, and it doesn't really look much like yours.

A lot of different types of units confuse the player and he ends up building the first one he finds if it's not clear which one is stronger or with which kind of unit they are strong against (infantry, cavalry...)

So, all balanced factions should have archers, soldiers, pikemen, cavalry and perhaps an elite unit (then siege weapons too).

I so agree with you mate . Also I still don't like how week Gondor Soliders are , cause they were the best Men in Middle-Earth ( probaly after Dol Amroth ), and in EA games are some random little guys , and no mod ever tryed to change that . As an idea , they can change something like recruits ( like in LOTR Conquest)
