If anyone with access to my site wants to do this for me go ahead, since I don't have any of the software for it to happen, and certainly not the will to really do it (since my mod is dead and all that)

I'm sure everyone has notepad. Those who doesn't have it, may have Gedit, Kwrite or TextEdit.... whatever text editor that comes with the operational system works. If you need something better, go with NotePad++.

And an FTP program like Filezilla.

Don't ask me why but... It does not appear if I put it horizontal (resolution 600x120, 400x100 etc.). However, it appears when I put it vertical. Any help?

RTFM :)

There are three available formats:

* 728 x 90 pixels (this is the default)
* 120 x 600 pixels
* 160 x 600 pixels

Oops, there was a bug on our side. The script crashed if you didn't supply options :xd:
The default should work now.

Obviously that only applies to people with sites... :p

Btw, your signature is way too big. Please scale it down so it follows the forum guidelines.

I made the site once you know, but I don't want to be bothered with getting all the programs to update a site which already has ads ;)
My question still stands, what's the real difference?

I can't seem to get the ads to show up as vertical. I keep getting the horzontal banner from the forums.

I didn't edit anything and I also have the head code.

http://m3000.info

I think it has to do with the fact that the Revora banners are the only ones showing up no matter how many times I refresh and they are horizontal. Can't I get just normal google ads?

You're calling the display ads functions twice, once with empty settings (causing the default format ads to show up)

I see now, that makes sense I wondered what was up with that when I saw it. I supposed it was something I didn't understand. You might want to make note of that in the hosting FAQ because i copied the code from Banshees code and he has them exactly as I have it. I simply copy pasted.

Well now no ads at all show up so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Nothing, we simply don't have any ads in that format at the moment. You get no ads for free :)

Some changes:
- 468x60 is available as a format
- A "division" parameter was added (most won't need to bother with this)

See first post for details.

Apparently I need some help doing this because no matter what I do, the ads will NEVER display. Yes, I put the required script in the head of the document and I left everything to just defaults so I can get the damn thing to display, but no matter what it is I do, never fucking displays. This is the second or third time I have the same problem. I have no idea what I could be doing wrong since I'm just copying and pasting from here to there.

Showing code would be a waste since it already exists in this thread. Unless I missed a crucial step, what the fuck am I doing wrong?

The only thing that comes to mind would be other JavaScript errors on the page that prevent the script from running somehow. It's really just guessing without seeing your code though.

I tried it in IE8 and saw no errors crop up so I have no idea. I just tried it again and it works in IE8 and no place else. Firefox and Chrome don't display it for sure; not sure about Opera or Safari, but I'm going to take a bet that it doesn't work. I have no idea what I could have done to cause this behavior. Probably need to recode the SS website... I have no idea.

I have that at the very top of the document head.

And that to display the ads.

Which website is that for? The ad code looks fine, must be something else on the site.
