Hello modders! I'm a 3d artist looking for anyone who needs some graphical help in their mods.

I used to mod YR quite some time ago and recently I started to take some interest in it again, though I don't remember much about it. I've been reading tutorials and whatnot but I want to take it easy before starting my own mod, so I thought that in the meanwhile I'd like to help anyone with some assets or even taking an actual position as artist in a mod.

The only thing bugging me is that I can't find any template for 3D applications containing that pseudo-isometric angle used in RA2, which I need to convert my models to shps. I've searched on the PPM tutorial archives, ModEnc and pretty much everywhere and haven't got it yet, so if anyone can help me here it'd be much appreciated.

I'll post some of my work soon and hopefully somebody will get interested. :thumbsupsmiley:

Yea apollo will welcome you with open arms if you wow him :thumbsupsmiley:

theres a script availble for ra2/ts angled buildings for 3ds max though blender some modders also use that program (dunno if the script works for that one though) the script can convert the files to SHP there are people at PPM that can help with getting the models converted to SHP files

SSTG, thanks you for the advice. I'll give that script a search. Although I don't use 3ds max or Blender, it might help if it tells me the angle of the camera.

Here's some of my stuff, nothing RA2-like though. Hopefully it "wows" some of the big mods around in need of help.

I thought I had more stuff laying around but whatever, these 2 might do for now, unless someone specifically wants to see something more fitting for RA2 like tanks and war buildings.
As you can see I kind of like sci-fi settings. But I generally enjoy modelling anything interesting and/or creative. I'll do my best if I'm asked to do boring stuff like bunkers and the like anyways. :thumbsupsmiley:

ah cool I've been using maya for my studies back a few years ago for filming purposes

if you use maya for your work then if i remember correctly you can convert them to obj files were ethier 3ds max or blender can read

but I think seeing you know alot more on maya than I do XD you may find a work around

I use Blender, and it can make some pretty epic stuff. However, Maya does it better.

Hello everyone. I am back.

Well thank you all for your interest and kind words. I got several PMs and I'm now part of a project and I'll do my best to make it a beautiful-looking mod.

I'm still available to help everyone with an asset or two, but my main focus is now set.

Well I agreed to help Apollo on some things but RS isn't the project I was talking about. :p

I hope you could work on some concept art as well.

I might, or at least some renders and promo. :)

Here's something I made more RA2-looking. If anyone is actually interested in it just let me know and I'll turn it to shp.. Once I find that template hehe.
Not sure what it will work as though, maybe a conyard or something.
