Soren blinked slowly. "That was... inspired," he said slowly.

"Indeed it was," said His Vampiric Majesty with a shudder. "I wouldn't fancy getting in the way of those flames, or I'm afraid that I would be dead beyond all hope of reincarnation." He began looking around the interior of the airship. "Hmmm... quite unlike the Sky Navy ships I'm used to tearing apart, setting on fire, and sending plummeting to ruin with a payload of bombs... Ah, my undead heart never feels so light as when I am in the air."

"Lovely as your nostalgia may be, don't you think that we should concentrate on something else... maybe trying to find a place to escape from those things?" commented Ike, jabbing a thumb back over his shoulder at the Ice Demons, who had taken to wing and were flying after the ship.

"They won't catch up... they're awfully slow," said the Vampire King. "Besides, we can let dragon-lady deal with them."

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

Sure enough, Morrigan essentially acted as the airship's fighter escort. As the winged ice-creatures tried their best to catch up, she simply incinerated them with contemptuous ease. She let out a particularly primal draconic victory screech as she drew up alongside the transport vessel.

Alistair, meanwhile, approached Saul, who was regarding both the armour he was wearing and this most unusual new company he was keeping with equal mystification. "I can honestly say that this wasn't the direction I imagined my day going..."

Saul nodded, a little nervously, but his chuckle was genuinely good-humoured. "I know what you mean. Look," He pointed over the guard-rail of the airship's outer deck, his finger indicating the sheer chaos erupting everywhere below. Hundreds, thousands of people fleeing in terror, being chased down, hacked down or simply blown up by whatever denizens of evil had appeared in their particular area. "I hate to say it, but I expect the darkspawn did follow you through. Just like the orcs and that troll Morrigan froze followed them," he indicated Boromir and his few surviving Gondorian guard, "and the dremora - those guys in the demonic armour - followed him." His point moved to Martin and the Blades.

"How exactly do you...know us all?" Alistair asked, a fair question and one that could probably be better answered here than amidst the warzone that had erupted in Springfield below.
"I play a lot of video games and watch a lot of movies," Saul shrugged, "I just beat the archdemon from your game last week...thank God for Morrigan's ice spell."
Alistair frowned. A video game? What? The last thing he new was losing his fellow brother Grey Warden to a horde of darkspawn, and now here he was in a flying vehicle with a lad telling him they were pawns in a game[/]? "Do you have any conception of how absurd you sound, ser?"
Saul blinked. Then he nodded. "Honestly? Yes. Yes, I do. But no more absurd than seeing you, here, in the flesh. Or him, or her, or any of these people. Or why I'm wearing this armour, or carrying this pistol."
"Well, I suppose we'd better confer with everyone else, maybe get some sort of clue as to what our next move is."
A nod from Saul conferred his agreement. "Capital idea. We can figure out how you all came to be here and not in Ferelden, or Tamriel, or Hyrule when things are less chaotic. After you. My name is Saul, by the way,"
"I'm-"
"Alistair," Saul said, his face cracking to a thin, wry smile, "a pleasure. I feel knowing you're on [i]our
side, put it that way."
"Not many say that. She certainly doesn't think so.

As the Airship moved forward the scream of engines could be heard, three purple shapes zoomed into view firing a stream of green lasers at the vessel. Thel leaped onto the nearest Banshee and kicked the Brute piloting it out and sent him flying to the ground, bringing the Banshee about so as to face the other two he opened fire with the main weapons and then gave them a taste of their own medicine. Pulling up into a spiral he came down beside the Airship and began to fly escort. Brian watched his maneuvering and quietly said that he had never been that good of a pilot when he was playing as him in Halo 2. Martin just stood there in amazement as they flew through the air, nothing in Tamriel had ever been able to do this

''So we're actually flying? And we're not dead?'' he asked

''Nah, we're still alive and yes, we're flying, scary isn't?'' Brian replied

''Most interesting.''

Revan stared at the sky and did not speak, suddenly he turned around and took a seat on the deck, he then began to meditate on the days events hoping to find an answer through the force.
