The badger bomber is yet another example of the Soviet policy of complete air and ground dominance.
These massive bombers can be called upon by generals to decimate all ground forces and severely damage enemy buildings. The 7 high explosive bombs blast the enemy into submission.

Unlike wimpy Allied bomber pilots, Soviet pilots are not afraid to deliver their ordinance in 'hot' areas, the Badger bomber is well armoured, but be warned that anyone that wastes these jewels of the Soviet sky will be harshly dealt with!

Sadly this Pilot never made it...

Gameplay
The Badger Bomber is a Special power that becomes available to the Soviets after the purchase of an airfield (Nod Air Hanger). The power starts cold, you'll need to wait 4 minutes before you're able to use this power, but the good news is that the power is always free to use!
In the heat of battle 4 minutes goes by very quickly!

Enough to bring a tear to the eye of any proud Russian!

The Badger bomber has a lot of health, so you can order it to strike quite deep into enemy territory .
It requires a focused air defense, rather than a "Oh I've just seen a bomber, I'll build a few rocket troopers and a couple of Pitbulls to sort it out".
A fast reactionary air defense (especially one that contains interceptors), backed up with static air defenses, will comfortably deal with deep strike bombing missions.

The Bombs damage type is 'CANNON' which makes them very effective against vehicles. The trick of course is keeping the enemy in place until the bomber arrives, easier said then done.
The damage against buildings is OK, it's basically 7 vertigo bombs being dropped in line that covers a range of 400.

Be warned that if a unit manages to land the finishing blow to your Badger bomber, that it is in line for a hefty experience point reward.

Happy bombing!
