Gameplay
The Allied Pillbox is the allied anti-infantry static defence placement. It is effective against infantry and also reasonably effective against lightly armoured vehicles. There are some key changes vs other anti-infantry tier-1 defences that I'll update you on:
1. The Allied Pillbox draws less power than typical Tier-1 anti-infantry defences (-2 vs -5).
2. Important! The Allied Pillbox cannot fire through buildings, it requires a line-of-sight in order to attack.
This means that you cannot place a Pillbox wherever you feel like within your base and expect it to be equally effective regardless.

3. Considering the above, it's a relief to know that the Pillbox has more health than other defences of its type (+50%). This means that you can place this defences on the perimeter of your base with greater confidence. Also they'll last a lot longer when placed in the middle of a fight!

This Pillbox was placed in the middle of a fire-fight, has you can see it took a beating, but it's still standing!

4. The Pillbox does double damage against Bikes and APCs. This should mean that the Pillbox will be of use against certain types of early 'rush' tactics.

Release 2 info
The Pill box can now fire through buildings. Considering how much more useful squad based infantry are in comparison to individual soldiers & also taking into account how much stronger infantry are in C&C3 (and also the blasted APC-Engineer combo) I felt I had little choice.

Let the Soviets know that the Allies will not retreat, build a Pillbox today!
