  •  There is one?

Posted 22 November 2009 - 05:27 AM

I was referring to Banshee. He must've been confused by the fact Pasidon, an American, used irony (something Americans aren't known for). :crazed:

Hardly. Americans do know irony. It's just the fact that so many, vast majority, of them seem to confuse it with arrogance. I shouldn’t say confuse, more like misplace. When they talk, it is like wow. It is quite a baffling thing to see firsthand.

EDIT: I would like to include sarcasm into what I just wrote also. :crazed:

Hmm...I'm starting to wonder if I gave a wrong image of myself :crazed:

Well, while you're still here, what's your religious and political affiliations?

1. Religion - I happen to be a Lutheran, but my faith is questionable. I do believe that there's something out there, though. Whether it's an omnipotent invisible creature, a second dimension, or simply what we call conscience, I don't know.

2. Politics - I'm into green politics, perhaps to a degree of eco-socialism.

You got elected on post count!? ... Well played!
I dunno who's stupid. That's why we should hold meetings to figure this out. The first annual {PPM-IP} meeting.

By that measure, MM should step down and make me root admin. Forever.

All hail Ash, new King of Revora! May his reign be long-lived and spamtastic.

I approve of your take on religion thus far. Were we to delve in greater detail should we discover that you also believe that, should there indeed be an afterlife, faith is irrelevant and the important thing is to have lived a good life and kept your existence moral (relative to society) and generally been a decent dude?

Politics, good choice, although sadly the environmentalists among us will probably never get anything done, because too few people give a shit. The Green Parties across the world need to change their message if they're going to win. The problem is that they never will, because they're all hung up on "Recycle! Recycle! Recycle!", and nobody likes being told what to do.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Anyway, what music/sports/movies/tvseries do you like?
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Since when did you start rating people? :crazed:

music/sports/movies/tvseries

Didn't I mention metal/rock somewhere?
Sports - skating, ice hockey. Soccer's not bad.
Movies - Action, sci-fi films, comedy. Movies I saw recently and liked were District 9 and Children of Men.
TV series - HEROES! Also, CSI and Pasila

I like your stance on politics, not that my approval would mean anything in any case.
When I am old enough to vote I'll vote for the Green Party of England and Wales - I've lost faith in the Big Three. Plus, their policies are decent and their stance on Europe is perfect for me (and the Respect Coalition disgusts me). Trouble is, they'll put their faith in wind energy; when will people realise that wind power is highly inefficient, not to mention ruining the landscape with the towering white poles and added pylons?

I like your taste in movies and tv series, Grimson :crazed: I like scifi and action as well, and watch some scifi series. Heroes, Stargate Universe (which I recommend if you're into scifi, action, and drama... It's quite unlike the other Stargate series, though). I also enjoy House, South Park, and detectives (both the American and the British ones, though I prefer the good ol' British).

Oh, also wanted to add that the 'greenest' form of energy is nuclear power. Yep.
