I thought it was the following:

Nihilism - there is nothing out there, life doesn't have a meaning
Agnosticism - the believe or non-believe in a god, rather than 'knowing' a god exists. The more rational religious (or atheist) folks, who say they don't know a god exists, but still believe in it, and also acknowledge that they might be wrong.
Apatheism - form of agnosticism, you can't prove that a god does or doesn't exist, but doesn't really care either, since it has no direct influence in life.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

No, it considers the idea of proof or non-proof of a deity utterly irrelevant. It rejects bothering with it in any way.

Hmm... didn't know that. Always thought it was the other way around, in a way. Good info, Mati but where is this Wikipedia page that talks about it? Won't seem to bother to show up for me.

I typed in ''apatheism'' at the search box. Don't know what you did.

There it is... same thing I did, except it brought up articles containing the word apatheism instead of the article itself.

Whilst reading Hibberd's biography of Wilfred Owen to-day, I came across an extract from one of his earlier poems:

Unto what pinnacles of desperate heights
Do good men climb to seize their good! ...
And their sole mission is to drag, entice
And push mankind to those same cloudy crags
Where they first breathed the madness-giving air
That made them feel as angles, that are less than men.

A nicer argument for apatheism, if ever I saw one.
