The Official Petroglyph Forums were re-opened two days ago. Now it features a new cool looking skin and it has been upgraded to IPB 3.X. Here's the official words from Berek-PG about this event:

It is my pleasure to present to you Petroglyph's new website and forums! You may have already seen our site undergo the change a few days ago. We wanted to send this announcement out to our current community to inform all of the change.

For the main pages, the basic navigation is similar to the old site, but much of the contents and style have been updated. Take a close look particularly at the news page, as we enhanced sorting of news, as well as adding further community news support. The game pages have also been enhanced to provide more support for community sites and features.

For the forums, while content remains the same, here are some of the things we've adjusted in order to provide you with more tools for discussions:

* Upgraded the forums from IPB 2.x to IPB 3.x and added a new skin
* Adjusted some of the categories and forum locations
* Re-organized Usergroups. We have cleared several specialized "Community" groups in favor of a consolidated "Community Supporter" group. For more information on what the "Community Supporter" group is about, see this forum thread: http://www.petroglyp...nity-supporter/
* Updated rules & guidelines

There is much more to explore with the new site, so we hope you like what it offers. We're all ears on your suggestions for improving it. Much more will be added in the future as your suggestions and ideas come in.

Note that most future announcement will go through our Newsletter sign-up system. To view the new site and sign-up for the newsletter, head to: http://www.petroglyphgames.com

We'll be sending out an official announcement and contests soon after the holidays and our community has settled in. So, have at it... it's all open!

Sincerely,

Mathew "Berek" Anderson

The new Petroglyph website also has a lot of goodies. One of the things that you may find at the Petrocasts section is the whole Panzer Generals: Allied Assault soundtrack. And every material from Frank Klepacki is certainly very valuable. So, it will be worth grabbing it once the zip file that holds all these musics is no longer corrupted (the corrupted one has 35.69mb).
