After waiting more than 6 months for the release of hl2, it has finally been confirmed.. Its been delayed. Hl2 was due to go gold on 9/21 and had not done so. Today Valve stated the delay. None of the hl2 sites know when it will be released, though some think it may be next month, others february, and some say even this time next year. With the delay of Half-Life being almost a year, and a previous Valve game being delayed, speculations are rising that HL2 may not be released for another year. Also with this delay; many, including myself, should have noticed the delay was coming when the SDK wasnt released when it was supposed to. The SDK was scheduled for release between (roughly) August 25th and September 10th. Valve, as most people know have kept HL2 very very quiet. And then around the time for SDK release Valve went almost silent. One person, a regular on the Half-life2.net forums got to go inside and see valve. Other than the small bit of info he recived, which wasnt much aside from a few concept pieces, Valve kept quiet.

Hope we get some more info soon. People are goin nuts.

I read yesterday on Shack news that it was delayed. I was hoping it was another rumor.

Looks like i might go find some Doom3 projects to host...

pft, gaint we beat your post by about 2 days on our homepage  Anywho, this does upset me... but a) i'd rather a solid, bug free game B) it allows some of the non-dedicated mods to die out c) gives us more time to get work done =)
