Cypher is said to be moving, possibly towards Terra, with some secret unknown purpose. This could be reflected in his speech too: mysterious dialog, double meanings, hinting at? Overall, Cypher is a guy with a dark history; should be shown in his speech.

Fallen Angel Notes

A fallen angel army can ither be made from the Chaos or Space Marine Codex. But there are a few things they cant have like stuff created after the heresy
for the C:SM and for the C:CMS you shouldn't allowed to have greater or lesser daemons or spawns. Reason is, if the Dark Angels converted to chaos during
the heresy they wouldn't have the stuff Space Marines have now. And for chaos just because I dont hink they would work out with the Fallen Angels army,
they havent fully commited to chaos right? they just went renaged. I also dont think that they should be full of IG units, they are Space Marine Legion after
all. Pick chaos or Space marine codex to work off.

Fallen don't operate in big groups. Do it more the Astellan Way in Angels of Darkness. Take no more than about 5 Fallen and give them some Traitor Guard,
corrupted PDF, Rebells or some thing. If they would group up too big, they would be much easier to track down by my Dark Angels.

Run it as a Lost and the Damned army, with Chosen as your Elites Allied CSM choice. Lots of traitor guard, with three key units of Veteran Marines
[some in Terminator armour, others not] with lots of Veteran Skills and no Chaos Marks. Voila! The Marines are few and elite amongst their allies,
it suits much of the Fallen fluff, and you could even pull in Cypher as a Special Character on occasion.

The Fallen don't normally congregate in large groups. They were scattered widely through time and space, and anything that might let them find each other
could also lead the Dark Angels to them. It appears that there is a wide spectrum within the Fallen, with some of them being truly fallen to Chaos, and
others just trying to make a new life for themselves where the Dark Angels won't find them.

I'd say that a Techmarine/Servitor would be fluffiest, but then again Techmarines are known to be very rare... Perhaps an Adept of the Machine Cult, a Magos... after all, Caliban was being harvested for it's trees and mineral wealth by the Great Crusade at the time of Luther's 'exile' from the Crusade frontier so as to 'train more recruits'. Cultists would work using C:CSM, and Mechanicus/Servitors for C:SM.

as unlikely as it is for the exact same kind of military formations to have grown up around different fallen angels, maybe Sacred Band Squads (stormtrooper) of Astelan and Promethium Suicide Troops (chimeras or foot) and Mercenary Guard of Cadmus might make an appearence?

How locked down are the unit analogues for the Fallen Angels? like instead of military grade Sentinels, the ad hoc forces of a Fallen Angel gathering power around himself might have an uparmored Groundcar? Griffon - Halftrack (modified ork trukk model)? Builder - Heretek, retinue Labor Detail? Havocs - Cultist Snipers? Venerable Dread - Angel of Blades?

Hmm.. I haven't found any reference to Groundcars or Half-tracks which FA could use -- they primarily take Imperial, Marine, Chaos, and Merc asset but I can sorta see them using unorthodox parts from other factions/chapters/marks.

I've found out there are debates whether FA follows SM or Chaos more closely but most favour SM codex for FA to closely follow.

I think it makes sense to have an FA mod project branch so that it can have Loyalist, Chaos, and Merc assets but the unit list you see is pretty much the standard FA army list which seems to be consistent across the board AND the best part of FA is that we have over 90% of the 3d assets done apart from Cypher himself. The rest are easily procured so a FA mod would have all of it in-game.

I really like your building ideas and names.

Hence the reason the Vindicator is a rare unit among FA armies. Its like a Space Wolf:13th Company army having either a Dread or Predator -- they are soo damn rare to see. I am sure a good spin could be made about FA obtaining a Vindicator but it stuck me, gameplay-wise, as being a unique Tier4 uber.

Correct.. we have a lot of augmented Loyalist, Chaos, and Merc models to choose from. I'm not concerned about 3d apart from getting Cypher done properly 3d-wise.

- Veteran Squad (standard bolter then melta, plasma, autocannon, and power sword upgrades). Also, I think more to represent a Chaos Chosen squad of sorts yet also mixing Space Marines also.
- Command Squad (thats still work-in-progress.. debating whether to have more Chaos or Space Marine elements in it).
