Mod crashes at splash screen during startup. Fully up to date FOC mod is fresh install. did the sound patch(es)

correction: it crashes on program load right as it goes fullscreen. oh. should mention: Vista 64bit

strange, i dont know whats causing it, i used 64bit vosta and 64bit win7 and it owrks fine. I adjusted the graphics AI to fix the crash issue with vista, well it should of...
no idea why itd crash

funny. I liked the v.21 (that one worked fine) so I was surprised this one did not work.

well theres no reason it shouldn't work, assuming u deleted the old one
Try moving the mod data folder over top of the main FOC data folder.
Be warned, if it dont work ull have to re-inistall FOC

If you have to install it over the main FOC data folder, just back up the main FOC first.

well thats the thing, u shouldn't have to, but its the only thing i cna thik of other ten redownloading and reinitslling the mod

are you run it in compatibility mode? eaw/foc it a 32bit OS game and has issues with 64bit OS
so you need to make sure that you run eaw/foc in windows XP sp 2 compatablity mode

if you do not know how to do this let me know and i can walk you throw it

got another crash myself. now, ctd when i beat the enemy in the inter-dimensional rift.

see attached Exception file.

also. conquered all of the star wars planets and the game told me I won, without winning the inter-dimensional rift place. which the Dr said was the whole purpose of the game.

Hope these "exception" files actually do something.

same crash for me :( ... Win7 Home Premium 64 bit..

compatibily mode changes nothing
start as admin change nothing
reinstall change nothing

highest patch installed

no cracked version(Gold Pack - Install)

crash comes on startup if it goes to fullscreen --> black screen and crash..
