It's more about the limitation of the engine, rather than the power of the computer, unless I'm way off..

Whatever happened to the TDH worldbuilder you guys were working on? Is that still in progress?

I'm very busy these days. It works internally, but not really as well as I'd like (updating it is a pain). I'll release it when I have time to fix it up.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

I don't know if this is the proper topic for asking about problems with playing the game, so if I'm wrong, or if this has been brought up before, just direct me elsewhere. And sorry for the thread necromancy.
I've experianced some problems with the gaming of TDH. While a great mod with interesting new faction and amazing retextures, some of the units doesn't show up, mainly those added into the other factions.
The units I know of which are missing are such that I've read about here: http://tdh.the3rdage...a/TDHManual.pdf
In the Dwarven faction, the Azaghâr-Gundu(Vault Warden team) is missing. While Gondor has got it's new textures, no new units or heroes has been added. Mordor has new textures and some new units added, such as the Black Uruks and the Harad Skirmishers, and the power-tree remains the same as the Vanilla version, but several are missing, and none of the new/revised heroes are to be found. Many maps are also missing.
So, my first thought on how to remedy this was by reinstalling TDH. This screwed things up majorly, making it impossible to play it(via Desura), as the as TEA, which I also have installed. As soon as I try to start the mod, the initial loading screen(showing the game is currently starting, but not taking up the whole screen)pops up, but soon dissappears without the game starting. If I try to start the game it just says it's already running.
Thanks on beforehand for any help.

Are you patched to v0.75? It sounds to me like you're playing the older version of the mod. Maybe try downloading it from a different location other than Desura.

Yeah don't use the Desura application, not sure if you even get the 0.75 version if you download it from there.

Use this link --> http://www.shacknews...iddle-earth-the

When 0.75 is installed, use the auto-updater to get 0.755(?) located in the start menu under All Programs > The Dwarf Holds > Check for updates, just like the old patch updater for the vanilla game! :-)

Due to some password trouble and what not I lost access to my old account, Jonasking.

Well, you're right that the Desura version is only V 0.5(would there be a way to fix that for the makers of the mod? At least I strongly prefer Desura, becouse of reasons I will return to). I used the link you, fagerstrm provided to download it, but I'm having major problems with getting it to work...(the V 0.5 on Desura works again though) Firstly, I had to fix the 1.03 patch for BfME, not a real problem... but when I want to start installing the game, it won't work, appearantly due to the file being in BIG format. I'm punted to http://file.org/extension/big, which directs me towards downloading FreeFileViewer, which is of little help(showing me a series of numbers and letters). I tried googling for an opener, but didn't find a proper one..
This is also my reason for prefering Desura, since it does all the messy business for you... ;-)
Thanks for the help so far. :-)

1. Uninstall the Desura versions of the mod. Make sure nothing remains, delete folders etc.
2. Uninstall and reinstall the game (this may not be necessary but it is a good precaution to take).
3. Patch game to 1.03.
4. Download the 075 TDH installer, install the mod.
5. Update using the included Updater.
6. Play the mod.

After watching "The Hobbit" last night, I've remembered bfme and this mod again and much to my surprise I see you guys are still working on it and have even released a new version. Still trying it and drooling all over it I must say :)
Just wanted to say thanks guys for your great effort. Oh and Happy New Year...better late then never :p

Besides the two upcoming campaigns, can we expect any other changes, specifically to the factions, in the next version of the Dwarf Holds?

TDH is pretty much on ice for the foreseeable future I believe.

Nert's busy with his new project and the others have pretty moved to projects of their own.
