More info to come in the future, but what you need to know is that this is the place where we will start arranging game-projects using the Unity3d development software.

For now, why don't you try out the program itself? download it here, install and register yourself, no charge(unless you go for the pro-version, but there's supposedly very little difference). Check out one of their tutorials and see if you think you are MAN ENOUGH to create something with it!

you want to see something that works? fine, I'll give you something that works. Blurst have published quite a few games, some of my favorites being Blush, Minotaur China Shop, and many others.

This is the General forum, where people should be able to talk about the generic things around these tools. Brainstorming, planning a new project, asking generic questions about things, just spamming about unity3d-related things. All of that goes here.

Also, I am not a god. I've studied 3d and some basic modern digital media, not enough programming and/or pedagogics for this place to be 100% learning friendly. If there is something you think is not right, please tell me so we can consider changes for the better.

I played Blush and Min, awesome games. I never knew Unity 3d existed. Are you sure the basic design engine is free?

You just have to register an account and they give you 97% of the stuff for free. The unity pro has the opportunity to add c++ plugins and other libraries you might want to use, plus publishing to the wii and Iphone I guess. Beyond that they are overall the same.

All in all, this is a pretty damn good deal for casual game developers. I was considering getting my hands on it before the 200$ indie version became free, but now i don't have to worry about that :crazed:
