This is a rather quick and simple tutorial, aimed towards those who understand the game and would have a project that would disable stock maps (AG and Fen are the first two that come to mind) from their mod's skirmish selection screen.

To be honest, it's quite simple. You need a copy of your mpmodesmd.ini and a copy of all the original maps for this simple tutorial. Open mpmodesmd.ini, and change skirmish's map filter to something crazy, like "AGShouldHaveThoughtOfThis" sans quotes. After that, the grunt work of changing the gamemode in each map to "AGShouldHaveThoughtOfThis" will keep all the standard maps in the list, as if nothing has changed. However, you'll notice that custom maps will not appear.

Naturally, this may be a bit much for a small mod or something that doesn't overhaul all the maps in the game. But, for each modder is his own set of goals and ambitions. Have fun modding!
