Welcome to the new forums for Commandos HQ!

For the old member from Commandos HQ:
Welcome to your new forums, treat them like your new home. The forum structure is simply a copy of the old one but we might rearrange them a little to fit with our other Divisions at Revora (C&C Guild, The 3rd Age, etc.). I will talk to Phantom once he's back online and I hope that way we can make this place look a bit more professional.
If you have any suggestions, complaints or ideas, just let me know and I'll take care of it.

Also feel free to check out the other areas of Revora, such as different different community-related activities or creative works.

For the Revora members:
Welcome to our new/old Commandos Division. Commandos HQ has been living somewhat in the shades of Revora for the past years and now we've finally brought it home. If you're also interested in modding a game from the Commandos series, you can take a look at their old forums for info while we slowly but steadily port the content over.

i think that leaving the old forum open, confuses people. there has been many new posts there, meanwhile nothing here, but overall there are much less activity on both forums together, as it used to be on the old one alone.

The idea would be to turn the old forum read-only so people will automatically come here to post. However, I don't think it's a nice move if I just do that on my own, as I still haven't heard back from Phantom (probably need to send another e-mail).

I've got a reply from Phantom. He's extremely busy at the moment and has told me I should just move forward with the migration. Creating new topics at the old forum has now been disabled. Total read-only will follow shortly.

Is the old domain too expensive? Does Phantom need money? I for one will happily donate some money if that can take us back!!

No, I gave Phantom the choice of having Commandos HQ move away and become independent (because gamemod.net belongs to Revora), but pay ($15 a month though) for staying on the server or moving it here and become a part of Revora (for free). Unfortunately he has disappeared ever since and we couldn't really integrate CHQ at Revora yet to make you guys feel at home.

I'm currently too busy to start a big campaign by myself but if anyone wants to step up and act as the interim leader and change the forums to your liking, edit the website, etc. I will fully support you. We also have people who are skilled at promoting sites on the outside and get more people to come here, but I believe CHQ should first be improved a bit before we advertise it.

Welcome Back to everyone! Commandos HQ has been rebuilt and is now reborn once again, I hope that all those who are still with us can stay tuned for more news on the Commandos universe yet to come, thanks to everyone
