Pen might remember me... I was around quite a bit ages and ages ago. Was one of the main testers for a couple of the first versions of remix.
A member of my clan mentioned playing Generals and I got to talking about playing and testing Remix.
And I got curious as to see if you guys were still around.
Low and behold, 4 years later, Remix still looks to be going strong.
Awsome.
Gotta go find my discs and reinstall.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

One of the biggest differences in this version vs the old ones is new powers... the GLA have all new powers from scratch, and the USA and China being taken care of in the same way right now. My goal is to have every general armed with nearly all unique powers. I still have a lot more to RE-Remix but it's going very well so far.

I've got 4 or 5 of my clan mates interested, so it will be cool to get some people online to comp stomp.
I'm gonna be uber rusty.

Watch your mouth... the title of this topic is vulgar. Pardon me for repeating it, but we don't say the word 'holy' at Revora!

the real debate right now is on should I keep holding off a release while I'm making good progress, or go ahead and put out a copy once I've done enough to be enjoyable.

I would suggest keep holding off....more things (and better in quality) inside the next version are always welcomeshould I keep holding off a release while I'm making good progress, or go ahead and put out a copy once I've done enough to be enjoyable.
