I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Tick the Shadw box in the exporter? (no clue if this is relevant in BFME2)
It's relevant if you're playing in middle or high settings that show the old shadow "style". Consequently, the shadow volume parameter needs to be in the code.
If you're playing in very high settings the condition to see the new shadows is to have the subobjects of the model with a single material. I think that the "Multi/Subobject" material (which is applied when you attach two or more subobjects that have different materials) does not show the shadow correctly.

Interesting... I have actually been trying to remove shadows from a model on purpose. This may be my solution. Thanks for the tip Morgoth! It's relevant if you're playing in middle or high settings that show the old shadow "style". Consequently, the shadow volume parameter needs to be in the code.
