The seventh Starcraft II Beta Patch has been released. Read all about it here.

We see the Banshee's health has been raised a bit. It is vulnerable to air units, so perhaps this boost will be just enough to allow banshees to escape other air units when they need to.

The missile turret originally did 7 damage, +7 to armored units. Now it does a flat 12 damage to everything. So it's less counterable now, and will hopefully serve as a better defense for the terrans.

The Thor's anti-air attack has been altered to do splash damage in an 0.5 radius (which is pretty small, especially considering air units spread out more than in the original game.) The damage has been reduced from from 10(+6 light) to 8(+4 light.) Perhaps this will help the Thor to counter Mutalisks.

The Psi Storm radius has been decreased significantly, from 2.0 to 1.5. This could be devastating for Protoss players, especially against Terran.

The photon cannon's health and shields have been increased from 125/125 to 150/150. Another base defense buff, perhaps balancing out that banshee buff.

The Broodlord's damage has been decreased from 25 to 20. The Broodlord was very powerful before and this seems like a fair nerf.

The Organic Carapace upgrade, which increases Roach's regeneration, now no longer effects unburrowed roaches. The last patch also showed a Roach Regeneration Nerf, and perhaps this will finally make the Roaches weak enough.

The Spine Crawler Damage has been increased from 20(+10 Armored) to 25 (+5 Armored.) This means it deals the same 30 damage to Armored units, but an additional 5 to other units.

The Spore Crawler's price has been decreased from 100 to 75. There doesn't seem to have been a lot of use of the Spore Crawler, and perhaps this will fix that.

Terran seem to be getting an overall buff in this patch, with various slight buffs to their units as well as that Psi Storm nerf, which will make M&M(&M) builds even more powerful against protoss.
