Notes: Similiar to standard Tau Pathfinder squads but voiced with less hushed, secretive tones. They can be accompanied by various drone types attached to aid them in combat.

Notes: Gue'vesa'ui are veterans of the Imperial Guard (Human) soldiers who defected to the Tau Empire. Either it is because they are fed up with the Imperium itself or because the Tau Empire pays better, they are ultimately a "loyal" auxiliary and mercs of the Tau. This one is part of Dahyak Grekh's merc team. Equipped with a custom Ion Rifle, should sound as your trigger happy and brooding merc soldier. Use Asian (preferably Japanese) accent if possible. Otherwise, a normal American one should suffice.

XV46 Vanguard Void Battlesuit
Notes: These suits are powerful, heavily armored and state of the art! They were designed solely for operating in space borne situations at (unusually for the Tau) close quarters being equipped with burst cannons, flamers, and fusion guns. As such they, have not been known (so far) to be used outside of situations such as space hulk exploring, naval boarding and underground fighting. So basically, a Tau Terminator suit. The pilots of these suits are skilled explorers or who are not afraid of getting close to the enemy. Sound confident, eager, bold, and daring. Yet keep a sense of wisdom as it is a major Tau characteristic.

Recon / Exploratory / Technical Drone
Notes: Recon Drones (MB3) typically accompany Pathfinder teams and can also be mounted on Devilfish APC's. Specializing in reconnaissance missions, they are armed with a Burst Cannon. The DX-11 Exploratory Drone is a derivative of the DX-4 Technical Drone used by the Tau for space exploration operations, frequently operating alongside XV46 Battlesuits on Space Hulks. They are fitted with limited armament and an array of sensory and high-powered communications equipment, and are typically sent off to roam an area autonomously, searching for anything of interest while an operator views their findings and makes command decisions. The DX-4 Technical Drone is used by Tau commanders and Fire Warrior teams on the battlefield as a mobile engineering unit. Notes: Supremacy Armour is the largest Tau war machine yet developed, a gigantic super heavy static artillery piece with extremely destructive long range weapons for bringing down enemy super heavies. The KX139 Ta'unar Supremacy Armour is a type of super-heavy Tau Battlesuit. The largest class of Battlesuit in the Tau inventory, it is intended to meet a threat that the Tau Empire has not yet prepared for; the defense of worlds within their growing domain from the threat of other galactic races. Designed to counter anything from Imperial Knights to monstrous Tyranid beasts, the KX139 lacks the maneuverability of other battlesuits, and is instead intended for static defense, carrying massively destructive long range weapons. Earth Caste engineer Fio’o Ke’lshan Sho’aun developed the KX139 to mount a dynamic yet stoic defense against the enemies of the Tau Empire. Development began after it was found that Tau heavy flyers such as the Manta were often outclassed against heavy enemy assault elements. Notes: The R’Varna is a giant heavy battlesuit, heavily armored and armed. It is, effectively, the most powerful manned weapon in the Tau arsenal
to date. It’s an extremely advanced prototype, and the pilot inside is almost like being wired directly into a walking tank. The
voice should be heavily mechanized, almost as if every thought in his head and on his lips was a tactical protocol, more than ‘normal’ thoughts.
Logical, precise terminology. Wouldn’t hurt if the voice was modulated to sound electronic as well. Use a very Light Japanese Accent.

Notes: Hot-blooded and confident. Y'vahra battlesuits are designed to get as close to the enemy as a Tau can dare and fill them with Ion fire. This unconventional tactical doctrine yields brave warriors of the Greater Good. The XV109 Y’vahra is the newest battlesuit at the Tau Empire’s disposal. It’s main battlefield role is to take the battle to the enemy, making hit & run attacks with powerful weapons – a triple-barreled flamer capable of burning even the thickest armor and a ion weapon with anti-tank particles – not even the mighty Land Raider can withstand such firepower.
