Completly forgot about the april fool, so did DLotS I guess... if not we would have waited for tomorrow to bring to you the sad news.
We have so many more things to do for Revora than thinking about the 1st April, and with that bad news coming from EA, we have others things to take care of.
Bad timing.
If this is all part of a joke, then you have a cruel sense of humor. If not, then this is really bad. :(
What would really suck is if this was a prank by EA.

So you're saying it's cruel anyways? Well, EA is known to be cruel..If this is all part of a joke, then you have a cruel sense of humor. If not, then this is really bad. :(
Hm, never gave that a thought. If it were the case, I'd actually laugh.. After some standard "oh, you didn't get me.. Bad joke" comments of courseWhat would really suck is if this was a prank by EA.

And we wouldn't have to take down the whole site; things like maps, models, articles, etc. aren't in violation of their rights, and we can also keep the tournament forum and worldbuilder forum. So the whole site doesn't have to go down.

I believe it's quite realistic, actually. I've modeled the e-mail after various C&D letter templates and the one EA actually sent to The Pirate Bay (they've published the reply e-mail). Defining short forms in brackets is also quite common in legal correspondence... except for "MODs"; that was a little extra joke targeted at EA's use of the (inexistent) acronym in the C&C3 Mod SDKI think it is an April fools .An official legal attack by EA would have gone to Revora as not to the admin and I seriously doubt that an official EA e-mail would contain words like "Mods" or the in brackets "works".

You think this is too far? Another one I'm on, the admins pretended someone hacked the whole damn forum, went down for at least 10 hours, pretended they regained control, starting putting it back together, then started deleting topics one by one, until it was all gone. Left it that way for another 2 hours...yeah but they pushed it to far :\
Then brought it all back up. There was much rage.
I love that forum.
